Great breakfast

The good Friendly staff and amazing breakfast with a stunning wiev. The hotel has a old time charm to it. Tiny minus for the sloppy cleaning and the "free parking" that was not free or awailable

Good for one night

The hotel is older, but ok. Rooms are extremely small, can’t imagine to stay longer than 1-2 days. Rooms with a window on the street are loud. There is a terrace but unfortunately not used by the hotel (e.g. sun beds) so you can go only on the beach, which is public and really really small with really no space. Breakfast was really good. Parking I have reserved in advance, otherwise no chance!

The hotel is an early 20th century building (I think) with the style of the belle epoch and our room had wonderful high ceilings and tall windows with a balcony overlooking the bay. There was a good sized desk and fridge, but no kettle. Wifi was good and the first time in Croatia we were actually able to connect reliably. There were no plug sockets by the bed which was a minor irritation. Breakfast was wonderful with happy staff and a great selection of food. It was lovely to sit on the terrace while eating and relaxing, a wonderful start to the day. Parking is available at the front of the hotel but needs to be pre-booked.

Lovran ist eine Reise wert

Der Empfang war nett und der Parkplatz wurde uns gleich zugewiesen. Das Hotel ist schon älter, sehr hohe Zimmer, mit leichtem Reparaturstau. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und die Auswahl riesig. Leider konnten wir nie auf dem Balkon frühstücken, es waren immer schon alle Tische reserviert mit Schlüßeln. Die Bar mit dem Aufenthaltsraum ist ganz in Ordnung, aber leider erst am Abend offen. Da entgeht einiges an Umsatz. Die Aussenanlagen leider ohne Worte. Lovran ist eine nette Stadt und wir waren schon das dritte Mal da. Das Abendessen war leider nur kalt. Wir waren gleich um 19 Uhr im Speisesaal trotzdem gab es lauwarme Küche.

Das Hotel ist zwar in die Jahre gekommen aber völlig in Ordnung. Einiger Minuspunkt war dass man keinen Parkplatz bekommt wenn man diesen nicht vorab reserviert, am Tag der Anreise ist diese Information dann leider zu spät.

Se non c'è di meglio..

Soggiorno di una notte. Piano terra, il corridoio aveva una sgradevole puzza di vecchio. Splendida vista mare anche se sotto la finestra era presente una distesa di guano di piccione. Stesso problema presente in terrazza vicino al muro della struttura. L'aspiratore in bagno aveva della polvere visibile che usciva dal bocchettone. La camera tuttavia era silenziosa.

Nice hotel right on the beach

Nice small hotel right on the beach (rock/concrete beach). Two red clay tennis courts. Good breakfast on a beatiful terrace overlooking the tennis courts and sea. Nice comfortable room with a balcony/sea view (it is worth paying a little extra for the sea view).

Bit run down but a nice comfortable stay, breakfast was good, evening meal not so good...they had a choice of only one dish for us, we went five minutes down the road to a fast food place and all was good. Surrounding area is beautiful.

Meine Frau und ich waren mit dem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden. Mehr als erwartet. Ruhige Lage, Blick aufs Meer und mit einer Terasse. Mit Parkplätzen gab es nur ein kleines Problem. Das lag wohl am Hochsaison. Sonst war alles Top.
