"Our stay on Craig Creek was wonderful! The weather was incredibly windy so we couldn't do much on the creek and lost power due to the insane winds Saturday but it was so lovely to be outside and exploring the area right around the cabin. Mitch reported the outage for us and called us when the power was restored to ensure everything was ok. The porch bedroom was amazing as well! It was so nice to wake up with the creek and mountain view directly in front of you and we could see the stars at...

"A very peaceful and beautiful getaway. Very secluded property with a lovely view of the river. Ideal spot to unwind and enjoy nature. The house is well-stocked, very clean, and really cozy. The host is very thoughtful and even offered to drive me to various hiking spots. There is a very nice trail very close to the house if you don't feel like driving around a lot. I would plan to get groceries before arriving since the grocery store is a bit of a drive. Highly recommend!!"

"We had a comfortable 3 night stay at your River retreat en route to Ohio for the solar eclipse. The weather was unfortunately very cold which restricted our outdoor activities. The cabin was cozy and clean with a very comfortable bed. The only thing missing was a toaster! Thank you."

"Loved the location, privacy, and quiet surroundings. Everything was great, and the water was just like any other Sulphur water. It has a smell, but it works! Plus, there was a full bottle of water in the water cooler when we arrived. We enjoyed sitting down by the water and watching the ducks float by. We communicated both with Evolve, and with the local contact, and everyone was helpful and quick to reply. Would not hesitate to stay again!"

"Pros: Very quiet, comfortable beds, pretty views and sounds from the creek, hospitable and helpful host - con: slight sulfur smell from the water at times (which was disclosed and harmless), but it didn’t last and we didn’t find it bothersome. All in all, this was a well equipped and nicely located cabin which I would recommend."

"A great spot to just take a breathe! The house has everything you need and the view is wonderful. Gwen is a wonderful communicator and one can tell she takes pride in the property. The o my thing I would add to the space would be a little outdoor dining table! It is difficult to want to come I side when there is all of that beauty on the back porch."

"A group of retired couples stayed at River's Bend for New Year's weekend. We never left the place and had a fantastic time. Kitchen was well stocked, game room offered ping pong and pool, hiking right from property. The owner even took the trouble of getting 3 kayaks out of winter storage so that we could kayak on an unusually warm New Year's eve day! She was fantastic :)"

"We had an absolutely lovely stay while visiting Washington & Lee with our son. The cabin is immaculate and beautifully decorated Scandinavian style. And the view is priceless. Can not wait to come back for another stay and hope to get the host’s homemade blueberry scones delivers right to the porch next time. 👍❤️"

"Rented this unit for some employees. I misunderstood what two of them was telling me when they said their wives would be in next job. The wives showed up here and I had not disclosed them. The host was undstanding and let them go ahead and spend the night. I would have completely understood if she would have been upset. But after I apologized and explained she was forgiving. Place is well maintained and you can tell they put alot of time and energy into keeping it up."
