"The breakfast was really good as was the room, and the happy hour drink prices were reasonable and the snacks were adequate. The only improvements I would suggest are they regularly check the ice makers on the floor because the ice maker on the floor I was on was non-functioning and the front desk staff I interacted with were okay, but a little on the indifferent side of things... They need to remember they're in the hospitality business and be a little warmer and more welcoming. I understand they had a lot of tour groups coming through and also that the hotel was pretty full but a little personal warmth goes a long way. Overall I would stay there again when in the Waltham area especially given that I got it at a decent discount through one of the online travel sites...."

"The front desk staff always seemed overworked, I feel like a lot of complaints about them aren’t fair, but that’s just me. They’ve always been helpful, and people have to understand it’s hard to juggle phone calls, emails and checking someone in in-person. Which is what the only person at the front desk was doing when I went to get my key fixed. Room was clean, I’ve stayed here about three times and two times the shower drain had a problem, once it was clogged and draining slowly and another the drain cover just came straight off. I do enjoy staying at this location, they have a side door that closes at 10pm but it allows you to park closer to an entrance if you use it at the right time. The fridge in my room could get very cold which was great because I was storing frozen meals in the fridge."

"Eddie at the front desk was AWESOME. When we arrived, our kiddo was losing it about a blister. Eddie gave us bandaids and engaged her so kindly that she stopped crying and starting telling him about our day in Boston. The room was clean, albeit a bit old and outdated, but what was lacking in the amenities, the staff was awesome and for that reason alone, we'd be back."

"They were obviously cutting costs! Everything was bare minimum or less. No microwave, beds were situated where only one bed could see the TV, ice machine didn't work, provided toiletries weren't sufficient to bathe a mouse, musty smell, no blankets on beds, heat/AC filters needed changed, restaurant/lounge had a lot to be desired (one bartender, no waitstaff, limited takeout type meals), and then I was overcharged, which I am disputing with my credit card company. I could go on....the view was nice"
