"Perfect for 1 night before or after a flight. Middle of nowhere so it was quiet. The staff were super lovely, couldn’t do enough for you. Only things that were a let down - the tv didn’t work and the shower only had two settings - very hot (and I like my showers hot, so this was saying something) or cold (which you couldn’t get it back to cold until you turned it off again)"

"All was good with our stay however we only had one towel and one cup/ hospitality items- we raised this as we left and were told they didn’t know 2 people were staying although said : on Booking Also we were surprised to be charged £10 for onsite parking just for one night it seemed excessive "

"We stayed here for two nights while attending a service at the church. The owners are charming and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was adequate for the two nights, we found it difficult to maintain the heat balance in the room and it was fairly chilly in the pub , the good food and atmosphere made up for this. Made our stay so much more enjoyable. The local pub is good, and The Partridge Inn (next town) is a skip across a lovely field. There are beautiful walks in every direction too. "House was clean and tidy, ample room for a couple in room #2. Bed was soft and comfortable for one night. Host was very friendly and welcoming, we unfortunately didn’t get chance to try the homemade breakfast as we had to check out early. Cons: host was not there to greet us upon arrival and so the neighbour/tenant had to check us in. Location can be hard to find. Look for the flag at the end of the road - gravel driveway."
