Hendrix House was perfect for our weekend in Lubbock. The house was clean and a nice yard for our dog that came with us. The beds and living area were comfortable and spacious. We had a couple questions before the stay and they were answered promptly. We would stay here again!

Hendrix House checks most of my boxes:Safe Clean, neat and tidyQuietReliable air conditioning InternetOff street parking Convenient UpdatedThe only things missing were a dog and tennis ball to play in the spacious backyard. Whoever did the remodeling, up-dating and decorating did an excellent job of bringing this 1950’s bungalow into the 21st century.

Beautifully decorated, clean and well stocked. Comfortable living space and beds. Concerns- the backyard was made of grass/ weeds about 1-2 feet tall and hadn’t been mowed in quite awhile. Also, the smoke alarm started beeping around 3:30 am the second night of our stay because of a low battery. Made for a restless night. My husband went out early morning to buy a new battery and replace. Other than that, it was an excellent stay!

Great home for a weekend trip! The check-in process was easy and upon arrival the home was exactly what we expected. The kitchen was stocked with basic necessities and coffee items which was nice. However, guests were not provided a sponge to hand wash dishes. The towels and linens throughout the house were in great shape. The master bathroom could have used a little more cleaning prior to our arrival. Our family reached out to Garrott and Shawna about the Wi-Fi not working, but did not hear back. Overall, a very quaint home that we would rent again.

Very clean and remodeled

Great place, beds were comfy and the remodeling really was fantastic. The only bump in the road was arriving at midnight from a 6 hour drive on the coldest night (~20*) and the house was 50 degrees inside. It took 5 hours to heat up to a more reasonable temp. Kids and I had to put on extra clothes and socks to get through the night. The blankets on the bed were thin and no extras anywhere. But after this hiccup the other nights were perfect. Owner very nice and would stay again.

Cute house, immaculately clean!

One of the cleanest properties we’ve ever stayed at as well as wonderful communication from the owners. With our two daughters going to Tech next fall this will be our go to property EVERYTIME we are in town without hesitation. Ps. The Hendrix House decor is great and the house looks like it’s freshly remodeled and it’s so nice.

House was in a nice neighborhood, very clean and roomy. There was an ant issue, we had some crawl on us while in the living room and saw a few in the kitchen area. Request would be some supplies(pens,notepad, Kleenex and scissors) we needed but couldn’t find.
