Great location. Fabulous apartment!

Well appointed apartment. 2 kitchens. A spacious bathroom in every bedroom. Lots of keys for security. Took us a day to get used to what key for elevator, door, gate, but made us feel secure.

Excellent apartment wonderful place & time

Wonderful apartment huge, exquisite decoration and yet homely for our party of ten (five couples). Thoroughly recommend it, location excellent within city walls with many superb restaurants & attractions within an easy stroll. Absolutely no down sides . Only thing….we only had four sets of keys for five couples needed comms between us to ensure access if we weren’t all together. But honestly lovely holiday in superb apartment- great support and info, appreciated!

Beautiful apartment

The apartment was well-managed and extremely clean. We did have a problem with the shower draining poorly but that was quickly taken care of. Elizabeth was a prompt and helpful host. The keys were sometimes difficult to work in the locks but I guess that is part of the charm of an older building and old locks.

Wonderful stay at the Medieval Penthouse

The apartment was clean, air conditioned and located close to everything. Each room had its own bathroom. The beds were comfortable. The kitchens were equipped with all basic needs. Washer and dryer worked well although they could not be used concurrently. The initial arranged meeting time was delayed. The multiple keys were cumbersome. One of the bathroom showers had only hot water. Air conditioner in one of the rooms was weak.

Top Notch!

The apartment was beautiful and well equipped. They made the hot tub into a cold tub because it was so hot out and it felt great after a day of walking. The only problem was the AC broke on half of the house the day we got there. They notified me and offered a full refund if we wanted to cancel, but we were a family of 9 coming from California that day so we stuck with it. It wasn't great for 5 of the 9 people bc they couldn't sleep, it was so hot. They tried to fix it when we were there and were very apologetic. Elizabeth the house manager was awesome. She was so helpful, available, and professional. I will recommend Lucca Apartments to everyone I know that's taking a trip to Italy.

We had a wonderful time staying in your five bedroom apartment! I have a couple comments: Imwas not notified about the renovation going on! When we drove up, it was quite scary! Once inside everything was great. I was told we had access to washer and dryer, which we did, but; very, very limited, which should be communicated to the party renting. Very small appliances and we could only use one appliance at a time. Just needs to be communicated on the limited amount you are able to use it. One of my friends fixed the WiFi! The spa was not heating, but they sent a repair man a couple days later. All in all, we enjoyed staying there very much! Great location! Elizabeth was nice to work with!

5 Star all the way!

The apartment was perfect for our family… 5 bedrooms and each with en-suite bath rooms. It was really two apartment…one a three bedroom and one a two bedroom. The three bedroom had a nice size kitchen, large living room and a whirlpool/spa! The two bedroom was more than adequate with a much smaller kitchen but a very large dining room and nice size living room. The apartment was on what we would call the 3rd floor but there was an elevator we used for luggage. Maybe the only complaint about the building was at night the stairs were rather dark. You could turn on lights but it was still pretty dark. There really isn’t a bad location in Lucca since it is so small but this place was in an excellent section of the city. We paid for parking but you could easily go outside the walls and find free parking and not that much farther away. This is very nitpicking but I think at reception you could spend a bit more time explaining the various items like a/c, tv, washer/dryer/ dishwasher, etc. European appliances are not the same as US. Again, not a big deal and we got along just fine. I still give you a 5 star rating with no reservation.

November visit was wonderful!

We were here for two weeks (after Comic and Games) and stayed in the 5 bedroom apartment. The layout of the place worked beautifully for the group of women who stayed the first week as well as the next group of couples who stayed the second week. It afforded both privacy and great places to gather for conversation. The kitchen/dining room hosted several private dinners. It was conveniently located, quiet and the elevator made it easily accessible for all. We let management know about a few minor issues and they addressed them in a timely manner.

Beautiful Family Gathey in Lucca

Beautifully decorated accommodations close to everything in Lucca. 10 to 15 minute walk to the train and bus station. Very much enjoyed the city of Lucca and the walk around the wall. Felt very safe and welcoming. We had a wonderful evening with a private chef that came to the house taught us to make pasta and prepared a meal for us. So fun!! Contact Tamara, Lucca Cooking Classes.

We had a wonderful stay at The Medieval apartment. The apartment is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The rooms are all lovely. We enjoyed have the two lounge rooms to sit in and the kitchen was very well set up with all the utensils you could need. The view out of the windows across from the guinigi tower was absolutely stunning. Grazie mille

Comfort, safety, cleanliness, location- all at highest level. If you stay more than 2 nights you need more towels and bed sheets change. There is a washing machine, so you can help yourself with these.

The apartment was wonderful. There was plenty of room for all of us and enough space to separate and relax after a long day. Elizebeth was an excellent house manager who showed us the apartment and its workings. She also showed us the closest market and provided restuarant recommendations. When issues arose she was quick to resolve the problems. At the end of our stay she arranged a cab ride for us to the airport . I forgot my prescription sunglasses in the cab and so I called Elizabeth. She called the cab company and retrieved my sunglasses and arranged to have them ship back to me in the US. There was a sewage odor that was prevalent in the early morning and evening.

I thought it as very beautiful and accommodated our family’s needs very well. Perhaps a bigger coffee pot. There were 7 of us and only two Italian coffee makers for 2 cups and 4 cups. Other than that tutto bene!
