"We have stayed at St Cuthberts Retreat a number of times now. The property is clean, well-appointed and we like the location, which is close to The Cheviots for hiking, has great golf in the area (The Roxburghe, Goswick, Linden Hall for example) and lots of interesting places to visit. In fact we always come away wishing we had more time there! Thoroughly recommended - we certainly intend to return."

Our party consisted of 3 adults, 2 children and 2 labradors and the property served us well! Plenty of room. "Host was extremely helpful leading up to our stay and provided lots of useful information. It was next to another shepheard’s but you still had plenty of privacy. "We have just returned from a week-long stay in this lovely location. It is situated just around the corner from the harbour and had everything we needed for a relaxing and peaceful getaway. My only criticism would be that it advertised a DVD player (and I had brought along several DVDs which we were looking forward to watching) and, although there was indeed a player, it had the wrong connection for the TV and we were therefore unable to use it. Otherwise a wonderful stay. Thank You."
