「The hotel was wonderfully located in Bo Kaap on the slopes of Signal Hill, with a great view over the city. The hotel was of a high standard, with large rooms with lots of characters, clean and comfortable. The hotel had an excellent restaurant for lunch and dinner options and the breakfast included in the room rate was good too. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for a stay in Cape Town.」

「Chic and trendy hotel. Very nice staff and always willing to help. Free valet parking. Area is probably a little more mixed - the hotel themselves don’t recommend walking on the street alone after dark. We just took uber point to point and we were fine. We would always see hotel staff/security so it felt safe enough. One small complaint - we stayed on 5th floor which is right underneath the rooftop bar and could hear some stomping. 「Conveniently located by shops and restaurants/ bars on Long Street, this hotel is clean and really nicely decorated. The breakfast was delicious, the beds super comfy, the bathrooms modern, and the rooms nice and quiet. What really stood out was how thoughtful and helpful the staff were — especially at the front desk. I've stayed here a couple of times now and can't wait to come back next year.」

「Hotel reception is on the first floor of the building, which is served by a lift or you can easily walk up a flight of stairs (if you do not have heavy things to carry). First impression of Habitat is that it is modern and clean. My room was on the same floor as the reception and breakfast area. Initially thinking that it would be noisy but it wasn't. 「location wise, It's not exactly at the waterfront area, however, it's still well connect with the most pleasant area in Cape Town. I think the complimentary shuttle boat make the difference. We had a mountain view double room, which is quite amazing. We can see the table mountain directly from our window. The parking is quite nice, however, there's an extra fee on it. The stuffs are nice, still lack of experience. In general, I'd stay here again if I had the chance to visit the city again.」
