Had a great stay at the Angel and Blue Pig! The room was spotlessly clean and right by the street, which worked well for me. The staff were genuinely welcoming, really friendly and helpful throughout. The breakfast was excellent. What I loved most was the cozy communal area with a beautiful fireplace. And if you're driving, they've got proper parking on-site, which is always a bonus in these historic towns. One fascinating thing I discovered through a bit of research using Claude while learning more about Lymington, is that there are historic tunnels running beneath the building! It's these kinds of hidden historical details that really add character to a place and connect you to the town's story in unexpected ways. Would definitely recommend if you're visiting the area.

First room had bath with no shower head holder and bed under low slanting wall. But mentioned this and moved to another room with a shower. Quaint building and friendly staff but did have to wait along time to get assistance at reception.

Staff, restaurant and the food. Sadly the room let them down. Expedia sold it to us as a Super Delux Bedroom. It certainly was not!! We understand due for a complete! Upgrade in January 26 and boy, it needed it!!!!!

Excellent stay apart from the useless shower with no water pressure. Very very bouncy floor boards which made one pitch and roll with any walk around the room. Not for anyone with mobility or balance issues. Good parking. Lovely staff.

Great staff! Clean hotel! Lovely big rooms. Just a bit cold! The heaters not as warm in the bedroom compared to the bathroom. Otherwise wonderful place. Maybe needs some painting and new carpets in the bedroom! But overall was great and would stay there again! Perfect location! Shops all near by!

We did not have breakfast as they didn't have healthy breakfast choice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Car park was good. Room was clean but needed a bit of tlc. Windows and curtains nt good.

Nice breakfast, Irish server very good. Good range of coffee and tea with kettle in room. Three floors of stairs to climb. As they wound round and had a striped carpet I found this very difficult as I suffer from vertigo. Hard to carry a suitcase such a long way up and down. Shower was of hand held variety, difficult to get hot water and flow poor. Soap holder over bath very dirty. Parking good.

Unpleasant rooms.

Looks lovely in the photos but is in poor condition and dirty in reality. I got one of the rooms in the photos. Paint peeling, damp, mold, cobwebs, dirty table, dirty carpets with evidence of the last guest left behind. Bathroom was dirty and shower had so little water flow it was difficult to wash properly. Fortunately was only staying one night and the bedsheets were acceptable in terms of cleanliness.
