Beautifully decorated throughout. Breakfast was very good and staff were very polite and helpful. The only thing I would make everyone aware of is that car park isn’t on sight of the hotel but at the opposite side of the road through an alleyway and it’s very small so we weren’t able to get a space so had to pay for the long stay car park which cost us over £10 in all and it would have been a nice gesture if the hotel offered to compensate those who can’t get into their car park. That said I would definitely stay there again next time I’m in lymington

We had a wonderful stay at Stanwell House Hotel. The staff are excellent, every member of the team was incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed in Room 32, which was perfectly cosy with a very comfortable bed and offered lovely views. The breakfast was great—high quality and plenty of choice. My only minor note is that drinks can be quite expensive at the bar. Highly recommended for a boutique stay in Lymington!

Lovely Garden room. Rather bijou and a particularly small bathroom. I was concerned about noise from the restaurant but it was fine (we were on 1st floor). Luxury bedsheets and duvet and decent aircon. Staff all lovely. Breakfast was fine. I had salmon and scrambled eggs on the first morning. The salmon was pretty tasteless and the eggs were dry - very disappointing and not expected from this establishment. Next morning I had smashed avocado and poached eggs which were nicer, but not amazing. Overall, a very lovely stay, with room for improvement.

Lovely hotel , restaurant service was very slow , we waited nearly 30 minutes for our drinks . It also annoys me how they now try and automatically add service charge to the room charge , I politely challenged this and was told that this has been introduced as the staff all earn a minimum wage .Note to hotel owners, pay your staff a decent wage !

Gorgeous hotel in the heart of Lymington. We had delicious cocktails in the bar before having supper in the main restaurant. Amazing service and lovely food. Would highly recommend.

A fab hotel right in the heart of the town .

Wonerful hotel. Lovely room, cosy very clean with everything we needed...nice touches like the Roberts radio....hotel had number of areas to sit and enjoy a drink, bar , conservatory, outside...outside space for a town hotel was super.. staff attentive .. overall would higjly recomend

Delightful Hotel

Hotel was recommended by Elderflower restaurant and we would definitely agree to recommend this to anyone staying in Lymington, it was all decorated for xmas and was beautiful and festive. Room was lovely and the bed was like a cloud, we will definitely be returning in summer months.

The hotel was lovely and very central in Lymington. The bedroom was decorated really nicely & pleased there was air conditioning in the room. The only comment, the bathroom was a bit small. The toilet was very close to the door.

Great hotel in the New Forest

Great boutique hotel ,staff are young but brilliant, excellent customer service,food top quality both breakfast and dinner. My only complaint is parking, very frustrating, when full you are left to sort your own parking, not good. New Forest parking discs should be made available.
