"From the moment we arrived at the property and identified ourselves as the family staying at Elmo's rest, we were treated like part of the family. We arrived at the house to find everything clean and ready even though we were a couple hours early. The house is a century old so floors creak and some doors stick a bit. "Property is close to Lynchburg bit lets you enjoy the country setting. It is a great place to unwind and hang by the firepit. Everything you need is there and the host was available when needed. We had no reason to contact the host as the property was exactly as described. We will rent again!"

"It was so peaceful and the perfect space for two families who are friends that stayed together. We did take all country roads to get there as it was in Gladstone, but so peaceful in the country with open space and a hot tub!"

"This was out home base for our daughter’s college graduation and we couldn’t have dreamed of a better location. The house slept our family comfortably and provided beautiful mountain views as far as the eye could see. Just minutes from breweries and wineries but the best experience by far, aside from the graduation, was an early morning cup of coffee on the back porch watching all the birds, rabbits, and deer start their day."

"I booked this place for college for a weekend at LU (Liberty) I have stayed at many VRBO’s. This was by far the best I have ever experienced. The home was fantastic, clean and the hosts super responsive! When we initially arrived our door code did not work. Within less than 5 minutes they had the code fixed. I have never had that kind of response from a host. I will absolutely book with this host again!"
