The Stardust Home

Welcome to the Stardust home! You will be close to everything when you stay at the centrally-located place. Liberty University is 2.6 miles. University of Lynchburg is 6.2 miles. Downtown Lynchburg is 7.3 miles. This modern single family home has been remodeled and stocked to give you all the comforts of the home. You’re about to book an entire home in a very safe and conveniently located neighborhood in Lynchburg.
The space
This is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath home.
Moon Room: 9x11 with a queen bed and 50" smart TV. Closet with hangers and dresser inside closet. Baggage rack & safe.
Mars Room: 9x11 with a queen bed. Closet with hangers.

Both rooms have nightstands and touchable lams with USB hookups.

The bathroom is 9x8 with a stackable washer & dryer.

The kitchen has lots of storage, a gas range, coffee pots & hot water kettle. The kitchen has some cooking essentials like cooking oil, seasonings, snack items, coffee, tea, cream & sugar.
Guest access
You will have access to the entire home. Front porch with a cute seating area. Back porch with table, 4 chairs, and a solar lighted umbrella. Gas grill for any of your cookout needs. Fire pit with 4 chairs & wood is provided.

The property was as described in the listing, it's tucked behind a gas station, which made grabbing snacks and gas very convenient. The space theme was super cute and added a fun touch to the stay. The back porch was also a highlight, giving us space to enjoy meals outdoors and plenty of room for my puppy baby. However, for the amount of money I paid, this property should have been immaculate. The smell of wet dog hit us immediately and lingered despite keeping windows open the entire stay. Being pet-friendly should not mean the home reeks of dog. The couch had stains, and I suspect both the couch and rug were holding onto the odor. The vents were thick with dust, the windows hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, cabinets had food splatters, and dried food was stuck to the stovetop. The toilet had dust under the seat, suggesting it hadn’t been wiped in a while. Several pillows and a mattress had stains—including one that looked like blood. We luckily brought our own sheets, washed the bedding, and even used our own cleaning supplies to wipe down the bathroom and spray disinfectant throughout the house just to make it bearable. Pots and pans were visibly dirty, and only a couple of dishwasher pods and laundry pods were provided, so we had to buy more.I’d only recommend it to someone fine with cleaning up after hours of travel or with lower standards of cleanliness. I wouldn’t return, which is so unfortunate because truly I loved everything else.

Just What We Needed

This place was perfect for our stay! It was very clean and comfortable! The kitchen was well stocked with nice kitchen pots, pans, utensils, etc. The bathroom was updated and had all of the essentials provided for us. We used the fire pit and the deck, and it was very quiet and peaceful. Also - it was extremely nice that the firewood for our fire was all set up and ready to go for us! What a nice touch! The space theme was actually very unique and while I originally wasn’t sure how I felt about an astronaut looking over my shoulder - the comfort and quality of the house outweighed the unique wall aesthetic. The location is interesting as you pull right next to a gas station to get to the house on a small street with a few other houses, but it was actually very nice and quiet. For a dog friendly house - it was very clean! My only suggestion would be to add a couple small chairs to the living room area to make it more conversational for people to hang out. We had a lovely stay and would stay there again if needed!

Just What I Wanted

In town for work on some personal property and fun things around town. We found the house to be the perfect size for 2 people, it was clean & Lara was extremely responsive and friendly. We noted a noise concern on a previous visit but did not have that issue at all. We’re planning to use when in town, if it’s available as it is convenient for what I need.

We had a great stay! Very clean, great amenities. We loved the backyard with the firepit. It was great that the coffee bar was stocked and the basket of snacks was great for the kids after a long drive. We loved how close it was to Liberty U. We would definitely stay again!

Nice little house, interesting theme

The house is as shown and nicely decorated. Had everything we needed for our stay. Location was a bit noisy due to proximity to a busy road. Appreciated the stocked coffee/tea station and there was a snack box which a nice surprise. Would stay again.

Weekend away to see my daughter's Beach Volleyball tournament.

This little house was adorable. It was the perfect size for us, super close to the university, and included everything you would need away from home. Our host was wonderful with communicating and even let has have a late check out (3:00pm!!) so that we could do Easter with our family. We will definitely keep this place in mind for our next stay.
