「We had a wonderful weekend visiting our son for his birthday. The home is absolutely beautiful! Loved all the original wood floors and the quaint front porch. Although we didn’t use them, the kitchen was well stocked with cookware. I especially appreciated that an appropriate amount of towels and washcloths were provided. 「This was a very disappointing stay. The description did not disclose that there were several people living in the basement. There was no lock from inside kitchen to basement, so no way to assure those people didn't enter our space. The back yard was "off limits" as were several cupboards in the home. It appeared as though people who were in the house quickly moved their stuff into the basement prior to our arrival, with a very shoddy cleaning job. 「We absolutely loved staying at this charming cottage. The house was very clean, well organized, and tastefully decorated. We were visiting Lynchburg to move our daughter into college, and having such a great, welcoming and comfortable place to stay made that journey much easier to get through.
