Barbara’s Place was an absolute gem! Conveniently located just 15 minutes from the Ferry and a quick 20-minute drive to almost anywhere on the island, it’s the perfect central spot for exploring. A major highlight is its proximity to the Cup and Saucer Trail, which is a must-do and offers incredible views.
The property itself sits on the peak of a bay, and the sunset views are simply breathtaking—definitely a highlight of our stay. We were impressed by how well-equipped the place was, with some thoughtful basics provided, plus extra firewood to enjoy the outdoor fire pit.
The staff were super friendly and welcoming, adding a personal touch to our experience. The added bonus of a pool and hot tub, along with direct lake access, made for the perfect relaxation spots after a day of adventure. All in all, it was a peaceful, scenic, and comfortable retreat—I can’t recommend it enough!
