"Unbeatable place! First time in Maui for our second Honeymoon. They even left a bottle of champagne in our room wishing us Happy Anniversary. The place is amazing, great pools, Jacuzzi, bar by the pool with live music every night! The complementary bikes and shuttles within the town is a great deal! We were able to get around without any trouble. The beach is across the street and easy access. Highly recommend!"

"We rented the room just for 12 hours due to a flight change. We had never stayed at the Royal but here are my take aways: Very clean. Room and entire property was kept clean, well maintained and fairly modern. Pools are small but efficient. We stayed a week in Wailea (more expensive) and was a little disappointed in the food on property at the Royal. We stayed in Ka'anapali because we had dinner reservations at Hono (a must go!!!!!) and then a midnight flight. For the price, it far exceeded our expectations and would definitely use it again for a last day extension. And I know you are going to ask why I would not stay there for longer. It really has zero to do with the hotel and everything to do with the beach. Ka'anapali beaches have a ledge that drops off about 12-18" around knee deep water. Wailea beaches are a gradual dropoff and we prefer the southern beaches to the northern ones. Ka'anapali is more economical than Wailea (especially for food) so for more budget minded travelers this hotel would far exceed your expectations. It did mine. Enjoy!"

"Everyone was really accommodating. Even the security passed out cool towelettes. The whole area was very clean and the location is so close to the beach. Would definitely recommend! Not to mention Tante’s restaurant which was so delicious was minutes away."
