「We loved this house and the location! We've stayed in a nearby house for many vacations through the years but needed something bigger, and this house was perfect for us. It's quirky and filled with art, and beautiful ocean views.The upstairs layout is a little funky (one bedroom is only accessible via adjoining rooms, and one large bedroom has the back staircase in it) but it was totally fine for us. Our kids loved the visiting chickens and walking to the beach each morning.」

「We had an awesome stay at Little Bay Retreat! The place is immaculately clean and so comfortable as a home base for exploring this area of DownEast Maine. The views from the deck are constantly changing with the tide, so much to just sit and enjoy. Visited Lubec having lunch at the old sardine factory overlooking the water, went to West Quoddy State Park and walked the trails and visited the lighthouse, went to Jasper Beach and discovered a wonderful nearby restaurant south of Machias called...

「We arrived after dark and a long day of traveling so finding the keys and getting into the house was a little tricky but the house was warm and cozy. The views the next morning were beautiful and better than expected. Frisky Fish was our home base for sightseeing further north and into Canada. The house was exactly what we needed and we would love to come back in warmer weather to really be able to enjoy the beach and outdoor activities. 」

「This house lives up to its billing and reviews. The isolation- even from neighbors- was wonderful, and the cabin quite comfortable. Everything was nice and new. We were impressed with the size of the kitchen, and were able to cook some elaborate meals. The one night we didn't have cloud cover the sky was mind-blowing. Even though the house is 500 road miles from our home, it's likely we'll come back.」
