This hotel was in a great location and it was right in the middle of the old city so you could walk anywhere. Staff were great, the only thing is depending on the room you book there are windows in the rooms but they are frosted and you can’t see out. Overall I would recommend it for sure.

The room was clean, with enough space to accommodate 4 people. Breakfast was at a nearby restaurant (1 minute walk from the hotel), which was convenient for us. Staff was quite helpful with recommendations about location of nearby laundry and other amenities. Overall a good experience and great value for money.

The hotel has the best location, really close to Puerta del Sol and therefore, close to Gran Via, Plaza Mayor, Mercado San Miguel, etc. Staff is really helpful and accommodating. Fast responses for any inquiry or service requested. I definitely will stay there again.

My stay at Alhambra Suites was a mix of convenience and a few discomforts. The location is undeniably central, which makes it easy to get around—but it also means it’s noisy outside, especially at night. It’s very much a standard big‑city hotel property: clean, straightforward, and functional, but nothing particularly distinctive beyond its proximity to Puerta del Sol. One highlight was the included breakfast, which was genuinely delicious and a nice way to start the day. Another plus: the air conditioning worked really well, which made the room comfortable despite the busy street outside. The part that left me uneasy was the check‑in process. The front desk staff held onto our passports while checking in other guests, which meant they were out of our possession for several minutes. We weren’t comfortable with that, so we dropped our bags in the room and returned to the desk to wait until they were handed back. Everything turned out fine, but the process didn’t feel secure. Overall, Alhambra Suites is convenient and offers a great breakfast, but the street noise and the passport handling at check‑in are worth keeping in mind if you’re considering a stay.

The breakfasts are provided at a restaurant around the corner from the hotel. The food is very good and tasty. They offer a choice of tostas in which I asked for the one with pork paté and carmelized onions. There is an AC unit in the room and I was very comfortable.
