Falling waters beautiful mountain getaway

  • Privately nestled in old-growth woodland on a one acre lot in a Maggie Valley mountainside community, Falling Waters offers 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and lots of space for stretching out and enjoying all that mountain living has to offer. A rushing stream spans the property, pouring over boulders and filling the air with the sound of falling water. Falling Waters is perfect for
    multi-family gatherings or couples looking for a beautiful mountain getaway.
    On the main level, the great room is a wonderful gathering space, from the rustic wood floors to the towering cathedral ceiling, complete with skylight and a spacious, secure loft that is a favorite spot for our kids.
    The great room is warmed by a gas burning Jotul fireplace, filled with comfortable furnishings and accompanied by a ‘smart’ TV system. Also on the main level of the home are two king size suites and a modern kitchen with maple cabinets and lots of counter space. The creek level of the home, renovated in 2016, has a cozy den with a smart TV entertainment system and ample comfortable furnishings. At creek level, 2 brightly-appointed adjoining bedrooms include queen and twin beds, respectively.

    If you leave trash behind, we'll need to charge your account with $25
    convenience fee.
    Please take linen bed sheet off from beds and leave used towels on the bathroom floors.
    Take evey thing out from refrigerator.
    Leave the thermostat at 55 F during winter months.

Polar Express trip

Great Cabin by a Creek

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and comfortable. The creek beside the house makes it very picturesque. The owners were easy to communicate with and the house came equipped with soap and paper products. Great vacation!

Great Amenities

It was great to have a jacuzzi after a day on the slopes, and the kids liked it too. The covered outdoor sitting area is great to sit and have a drink or coffee, morning and night, and relax to the sound of the creek running. Enough room for the kids and grandkids too, and the beds were very comfortable.

Nice house in a great spot

Great location less than a mile from main highway in town, but far enough up the mountain to feel secluded. Very clean and a really pretty lot with a stream running through it. Too cold for us to take advantage of it while we were there, but no doubt would be a good time in the summer.

Nice Cabin and amenities in Maggie Valley

As always a nice quiet stay in a nice accommodating cabin for 5 adults. Did notice the oven was inop and reported it right away and owner was apologetic and said he would look into right away. Everything else perfect and cozy. Thanks again and will definitely be back next year.

3rd year in the cabin and was as great as always. Love the upgrades in fridge, free snacks and wine, and TVs. Will definitely stay again next year if not before then.

Awesome Stay

We had a lovely time at the Falling Waters house! We loved the location and the house itself. Unfortunately it rained for a majority of our stay, so we couldn't take advantage of the amazing outdoor space, but we loved the hot tub! The kitchen was well stocked for our needs and their responses to our questions were answered quickly. The beds were so comfy and clean. I'd definitely recommend staying here and I hope to stay here again!

Wonderful getaway

We really enjoyed time with our family at this home. It was great to be able to spend time together and get a little separation and privacy when needed. Parking is a little limited, but we had two vehicles and it was fine for us. More than two could get a little tight. We would stay there again if we are in this area again.

Family vacation

The property was perfect for our needs and was well stocked with basic amenities. The beds were soft and comfortable. We stayed here while hiking and white water rafting. We also explored Ashville and Bryson city a little. My young adult children really enjoyed the hot tub and visiting the Stomping Ground on Friday and Saturday nights (just down the road) to learn how to two step from some helpful locals.

Satisfied all our needs - even the ‘picky’ one!

There was enough rooms to go around - even to the one who had to have her own private room! The beds were comfortable, too. The 2 with bad knees stayed in the main floor, the 2 youngest (50 - 60) slept in the loft, the 3 sisters (60 - 75) slept on the ground floor. Every one was happy!

Thanksgiving Getaway

This property is nestled into a wooded area but not too far off the beaten path. I loved sitting in the window seat watching the rain and creek. We enjoyed the fire pit and playing with our dog alongside the creek as well. Would have liked more seating around the fire pit. The hosts were extremely quick to respond to questions.
