“Charming mountain house with a wrap around deck and screened porch. Hot tub was great and kitchen details - like pot holders and corkscrew/bottle opener - appreciated very much. Enjoyable just sitting on the deck and enjoying the nature and peace. Would recommend a 4 wheel drive to get up and down Plott Balsam Road (though we did manage with a 2wd sedan). Very close to Soco Falls and Blue Ridge Parkway. A lovely secluded getaway that you won't want to leave. ”

“Gary is a very nice host, the house is beautiful with the enjoyment of two porches. The back porch is screened in looking over the creek. Very clean house, comfortable furniture, and had everything we needed! Perfect location with no steep hills. We visited Cataloochee Ski resort, Cherokee, Waynesville ( has a dog bar and dog bakery), Canton ( has a a dog park and river walk), and we loved walking our Goldendoodle around the trail on Lake Junaluska.
