St. Petersburg - Clearwater Mahaffey Theater Hotels

"I cannot say enough good things about this establishment! I loved everything about it. The Hotel is gorgeous at the holidays so pretty! All of the staff are exceptional. The rooms are cute and unique with comfy beds. The attached restaurant TheTapRoom is excellent and the food and drinks are great. The Coffee Shop and Bakery are also excellent! Really good coffees and baked goods. The location of the hotel is super! This is a walkable town or use the Looper trolley for free! But don’t forget to tip the driver! I hope you enjoy this establishment as much as I did."

"This is a beautiful hotel. I booked two rooms one for my husband and myself and another room for my parents. Both rooms were clean and very lush. The front desk ladies were so friendly and made great recommendations. We ate at the hotel’s restaurant and the food was amazing. We saw a show on their fourth floor in the grand ballroom which was so fun. For an older hotel everything was so nice. Highly recommend staying here 10 out of 10."

"We absolutely loved the ambience of this hotel. We usually stay at their sister hotel The Hollander, but they were all booked for the Christmas vacation so we stayed at the Avalon. Both hotels are wonderful and the staff is so friendly and helpful. We were able to use all of the amenities at The Hollander which was great. The swimming pool, pool side bar, and restaurant were all just wonderful. Would definitely stay at either hotel in the future and highly recommend both hotels if you find yourself in St. Petersburg Downtown."

"Comfy bed and pillows, nice hot shower, very good shades make the room very dark room for a good night’s sleep. Good breakfast though Monday was better than Sunday."
