Nicht zu empfehlen - Not reccomended for us

Die „Bay view Villa“ wirkt insgesamt ziemlich abgewohnt. Die wirklich gut inszenierten Bilder haben leider wenig mit der Realität vor Ort zu tun. In der Küche (zur Selbstversorgung...) befindet sich keinerlei Geschirr, Besteck, Pfannen oder ähnliche Küchenutensilien. Vorsicht auch bei der Bezahlung- der Mitarbeiter hat uns den Zahlbetrag doppelt abgebucht (bemerkt man ja aber erst nach Erhalt der Kreditkartenabrechnung). Zum Glück waren wir schon vor Ort mißtrauisch geworden als er zwei Transaktionsbelege unterschrieben haben wollte. Alles in Allem für uns nicht empfehlenswert !!! The "Bay view Villa" looks quite habitual overall. Unfortunately, the really well staged pictures have little to do with the reality on the ground. In the kitchen (for self-catering...) there are no crockery, cutlery, pans or similar kitchen utensils. Caution also with the payment - the employee has charged us the payment amount twice (but you notice only after receipt of the credit card statement). Luckily, we had already become suspicious on the spot when he wanted to sign two transaction documents. All in all, not recommended for us !!!

Bay view villa

Vi var sju personer, vilket gjorde att vi fick ett helt våningsplan för oss själva, med tillgång till ett kombinerat vardagsrum/kök i mitten av tre separata sovrum. Varje sovrum med tillgång till egen toalett och dusch. Vi hade dessutom direkt utgång till en stor balkong ut mot viken. Jättehärligt att sitta både morgon och kväll med utsikt över viken och landskapet. Boendet ligger rätt avsides och det bästa är nog att ha hyrbil. Vi tog oss runt med lokala bussar, som man kunde ta från busstoppet, som låg på gångavstånd. Med buss tog det ca 45 min till Viktoria. Fantastiskt fina badstränder cirka 10-15 minuter bort med buss. Det fanns en liten supermarket inte så långt från boendet. Vi hittade också en mysig lokal restaurang inte långt därifrån. På själva boende kunde man enkelt fixa frukost, men köket är inte särskilt välutrustat. Men för övrigt var allt ok. Städning varje dag och rent och helt ok för övrigt. Personalen var vänlig och väldigt hjälpsam om vi behövde hjälp med något. Fotot av boendet är missvisande tycker vi. Poolen är mycket mindre än vad fotot ger intryck av. Men sammantaget är vi mycket nöjda med boendet, bara man är beredd på att jobba lite för att hitta transporter. Ett tips är alltså att hyra bil.

We arrived with no booking knowledge but luckily there was a room available. Then had to move rooms due to in house confusion. The bed was a plank shaped as a bed. Really hard and uncomfortable! Especially with a pregnant wife it was unecceptable. Breakfast was horrible consisting of oily eggs and bacon with an salty apple. The excuse for a spa bath that doesn't work an not enough hot water to fill it! Otherwise the staff tried their best and helped where they could and good views.

AS I HAVE ALREADY POINTED OUT THIS IS NOT A PHOTO OF THE BAY VIEW VILLA , WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO MISS LEAD YOUR CUSTOMERS. THE POOL IS A QUARTER OF THE SIZE YOU HAVE IN THE PICTURE AND IT CERTAINLY IS NO HOTEL. And no i do not want to call you on an international no for an explanation. Just change the photo for one that looks similar to the guest house we ended up in.

Gibt deutlich besseres zum gleichen Preis

Hotel liegt abseits, ohne Auto nicht möglich. Es gibt solche und solche Zimmer, man muss also Glück haben. Wir haben Aufpreis für Meerblick bezahlt und bekamen ein Minizimmer im EG (Meerblick durch Büsche / Bäume versperrt). Eigener (privater) Balkon / Terasse fehlanzeige. Es gibt Zimmer in guter Lage, jedoch wird hier nicht differenziert. Safe wurde uns auf Nachfrage ins Zimmer gestellt. Qualität des Zimmers: uralte Einrichtung, alte Betten. Safe war nicht befestigt also sinnlos! Bei starkem Regen tropft es ordentlich ins Badezimmer (Fütze im Bad). Kleiderschranktür ging immer wieder offen, was sehr nervig ist wenn das Zimmer eh nur ca. 10-12m² hat! Frühstück: Qualität des Essen ok und standard für Seychellen (es gibt halt nie viel morgens, das ist normal) Auf den Sechellen muss man viel Zeit mitbringen, jedoch ist der Service hier schon sehr schlecht / langsam. Unter 1 Std. für ein simples Frühstück ist hier nicht machbar. Toastscheiben sind abgezählt auf 2 Stck. / Person. Auf NAchfrage ob man ggf. 2 Scheiben mehr bekommen könnte, wurden wir daraufhingewiesen dass 2 Stck / Person inklusive wären. UNFASSBAR! FAZIT: Wir waren in insgesamt 4 preislich vergleichbaren Unterkünften auf den Seychellen und diese hier war unserer Meinung die schlechteste. Sowohl Lage, Service als auch Zimmerqualität stehen nicht im Preis-Leistung Verhältnis. Unsere Empfehlung daher ganz klar: Es gibt für den gleichen Preis besseres, man muss nur rechtzeitig buchen!

האכסניה שהרבה לנו את ירח הדבש.

המלון הוא לא מלון אלא אכסניה, חשוב מאוד לציין. הוא היה ממוקם באזור מרוחק ומנותק מהאוכלוסיה, הדרך לאכסניה חשוכה לחלוטין ונראית כמסוכנת - הם לא מוכנים לשים אור לאורכה, אבל זה עוד החלק הנורמלי. בלילה הראשון לא היו לנו מים חמים, וכאשר הודענו "למנהל" המקום הוא לא עזר וכמובן שלא פתר את העניין. חשוב לציין שלא היה אף אדם אחרי השעה 18 והלכנו לחפש אותו בחדר שלו אשר מרוחק מהאכסניה. בבוקר ביקשנו לעזוב את האכסניה מפני שלא קיבלנו את השירות הכי בסיסי אשר עליו שילמנו לא מעט כסף. לאחר "התייעצות" עם הבעלים הוא החליט להחזיר לנו את הכסף עבור הלילות הנוספים אך גבה מאיתנו 40 יורו עבור הביטול. הסברנו לו שהביטול נעשה מפני שהם לא טיפלו כראוי במתקנים של החדר ושלא התקלחנו כלל. אותו זה כמובן לא עניין והוא התחיל לצעוק שנעזוב. בנוסף לכך , הוא הכריח אותנו לחתום על מסמך לא חוקי בעליל, אשר מציין שאסור לנו לכתוב שום ביקורת שלילית על המקום אחרת הם יגבו מאיתנו את המחיר המלא עבור החדרים הנוספים. כמובן שמיותר לציין שהם הרסו לי ולאישתי את תחילת ירח הדבש שלנו ואני מאוד מאוד מקווים שאחרים לא יחזרו על טעויות אלה.

PEACEFUL AND RELAXING

A wonderful place to relax and the service provided by the team was second to none. The dinner and breakfast we were provided were fantastic and the creole cooking was excellent. The view was also lovely from the varandah located just outside our rooms. Highly recommended.

Je ne savais pas avant d'arriver que l'endroit était tout à fait isolé et qu'il fallait, pour se déplacer soit pour acheter quelque chose ou aller au restaurant, appeler un taxi. L'endroit est certes magnifique mais cet isolement par rapport à toute autre activité est tout de même pénalisante !!! L'hôtel ne fournit pas de savon et les serviettes ne sont changées que tous les deux jours!!! Contrairement à qui ce a été annoncé dans la "pub" le petit déjeuner n'est pas un buffet mais est très simple Avant qu'on arrive, le montant total des coût de l'occupation des chambres ont été prélevés à ma banque, contrairement à ce que font les autres hôtels. *Les coûts des soupers du soir ont été payés avant notre départ ce qui a été normal mais on n'a pas eu le reçu comme quoi cela a été fait. D'une façon générale nous sommes tout de même content de notre séjour grâce à la gentillesse du personnel Raymond RAZAFINDRAKOTO

Un calme absolu avec une vue extraordinaire

Le nom de cette villa annonce tout : Avec une vue imprenable et surprenante sur la très belle baie de Anse Boileau et sur l'océan indien, en retrait de la route mais très proche de l’arrêt de bus, de quelques boutiques et Take Away, Bay View Villa est idéale pour se reposer pleinement en profitant de la nature, des palmiers, de la plage et des oiseaux. Un vrai petit paradis. Le personnel est charmant, la propriétaire très avenante et arrangeante (compte tenu de problèmes de santé qui ont nécessité un séjour plus long dans ce lieu). Non loin de la capitale, des autres Anses, c'est vraiment un lieu que je recommande à ceux qui cherchent la tranquillité ou l'aventure en y posant ses valises et en s'en servant de point de départ. Petit dèj copieux et bien préparé, clim dans les chambres et fontaines à eau à disposition.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt an der Westküste von Mahé

Wir haben 6 Nächte dort verbracht und von dort aus die ganze Insel erkundet. Uns hat die weniger touristische Westküste als Standort sehr gut gefallen.

Cheap alternative for a very pricey island

We had booked this villa early in February for a four day stay and the owner told us two days before leaving that the place was double booked for part of our stay. When we finally arrived at the villa, the place had a weird smell, later during the stay i assumed it was a curry smell but still unable to place it. The view was beautiful from the room but there was no beach of walking distance. The room was smallish and the bed was unconfortable and the washroom was pretty old style.

Review of nights stay

Overall the guest house was clean. We arrived at 9pm and the purpose of our stay was just to stay overnight to connect with our flight the next morning. We were happy with the guy that greeted us on arrival. We were advised that the accommodation had internet and satellite TV. However the internet is extremely slow and not available in each room, it is only available in a certain area and it is practically so poor it is useless. I needed satellite TV to watch an important game and was advised that the satellite was not working either. Had I known this I would not have booked. I was also advised that some breakfast would be provided as we were leaving early, however no breakfast was in the room so we had no food on check out. The room was clean, however with the internet and TV problems and lack of breakfast and distance to the airport we would not stay again. However it may suit other guests preferences but I expect decent internet and TV. The internet could not even handle skype or viber calls so we could not contact family. They did organize a taxi to and from the airport which was 30 Euro each way, the taxi driver was very nice and on time. Had we known it was this expensive and having the tv/internet issues we would book elsewhere. If you are staying here you will need a car as taxis will be very expensive. Overall I would give 2-3 stars.

a last night in the seychelles

could not have been more welcoming and helpful , good info on the islands , personal touch , recomend you take lunch there great chef , peaceful location, need a car if staying more than a couple of nights alythough the bus is at the end of the road. great pool , local beach is not one of the best , fab views

Mysigt ställe med fantastisk personal och värdpar! Ligger beläget i södra Mahe med fantastiska stränder 10-15 min bort med bil för sol, bad och snorkling. Finns pool, vatten att gå i för snorkling precis nedanför, härlig utsikt över hav och öar. Det är lite lyhört om man bor på nedre plan. Allrummet ligger precis utanför. Man kan ta sig med buss, men bästa vägen är att t sig med bil för 35-45 euro per dag. Värdparet hjälpte oss hitta en bil till oss. De har också kartor över ön och hjälper en hitta "the best stop". Ö

Four night stay at Bay View Villa

Valerie, Christian and staff were most helpful and friendly. It was a beautiful location with wonderful outlook. Although breafast was not cheap, it was a worthwhile extra. Towels provided for pool use but not beach. Snorkelling good in the waters below villa. The room was clean but the shower and bath both needed attention when we arrived. The outside of the property and gardens could do with some attention and redecoration.Car is a must for getting about.
