Top Malkerson Island Hotel Reviews
Crosby Lofts
10/10 Excellent
"Amazing location above Raffertys pizza and walking to shops. 2 min ride to Cuyuna trails and amble secure bike storage on property. Rooftop deck pretty cool for a sunset glass of wine. Very cool decor and roomy spaces."
Grand Casino Mille Lacs
10/10 Excellent
"From check-in to departure, the Grand Casino was top-notch. The room was in great condition, the bed was so comfortable! Common areas were very clean. The server in 1991 was super friendly. We were excited that the pool and hot tub have late adult swim hours, so we were able to enjoy the amenities even with a late check-in. We’ll be back!"
LOG CABIN w/ HOT TUB in BRAINERD - PARADISE NORTH

"Property was extremely clean and everything well kept. Very quiet and peaceful place to relax and unwind. It was nice having a bar down the road to grab a quick inexpensive drink/meal. Would definitely come back again!"

The Lake Haus: Peaceful 2BR Waterfront Getaway on Elm Island Lake
10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful little house. Actually not that little! You could put an air mattress in the living room easily. Everything was top-notch. Super clean, super quiet, very pretty area. Excellent communication with hosts. Very well stocked with everything you could need, and lots of little extras like sandwich bags and coffee! Lots of thoughtful little touches like a phone plug in the kitchen. Nice cozy electric fireplace in the living room. I could easily stay here for a month. Hope to return next summer. Would give it 6 stars if I could."
Ruttger's Bay Lake Resort

Private Retreat on 33 Acres with 1400 ft Lakeshore
8/10 Good
"The kitchen is big and well appointed with plenty of dishes and almost everything we needed. The host was quick to respond to questions. The view and setting is beautiful. We especially loved the big round table that seats 12 for our retreat. The exterior looks nice and the fire pit chairs very nice. There were plenty of games and DVD’s but we couldn’t get the lower level TV to work. Also there are speaker wires hanging down from the corners- removed? Stolen? What we were disappointed most about was that the place looks tired inside. The furniture in the living room was old, couch ripped and sagging, rugs worn and dirty looking, fireplace didn’t work, screens ripped, lots of flies in the house. The beds were squishy and bedding looked very old. The whole place could use a good scrub and fresh paint, and deferred maintenance taken care of."
Cozy cabin 25ft off the water! Near shopping, Restaurants, Attractions & Golf!
8/10 Good
"The cabin was cute, appeared as described on website. The kayaks were a nice addition to use. The cabin overall wasn't as clean as it should have been. Dirt in the corners, dust on alot of things & some of the windows were broken or not able to be opened due to not being in working order. With the cabin only having air conditioning in the sleeping area I think the windows should all be operational to allow better cooling naturally. Overall, it was a decent place to stay."
