"The cabins are old and need a bit of work. In the ‘wet’ room bathroom, the water from the shower ran away from the drain and out towards the kitchen. The crockery, pots and pans weren’t clean and the mattresses were stained, saggy and soft. It’s very basic accommodation but as they charge you more than a family room at a good hotel it needs to be much better."

It has a charming bay seating area and a brick patio off the front door with a fine wicker table and chairs for two. The room is quiet and clean with sleeping for three. "When I arrived elements of my room wasn't clean so I asked for the cleaner to redo it. The toilet still wasn't 100% clean so I ended up having to do it myself. The staff kind of apologised. Disappointingly there was no offer of compensation for what I experienced - not even a free coffee, drink or breakfast. Nothing. Just a disappointing experience and it affected the start of my holiday. "
