"My husband and I planned a stay with our girls and both our dads to make some memories. We found this amazing cabin and booked right away. It was even nicer in person than described. Only about 30 minutes from mammoth cave. They had plenty to do in the cabin when it rained and we all got to enjoy the hot tub post our hikes. We enjoyed competing on the shuffleboard table as well! If you are staying in the area, choose this house, you will not be disappointed."

"This property was super clean with comfortable beds! Was fairly close to Mammoth Cave! Check out the Blue Hollar! Cute little local restaurant close by! Only con was internet service was terrible, but most likely to location in the mountains! If you want to go to Lake Nolin it's a very short drive up the street! My dog loved swimming in the lake!"

"My family ages 21 to 70+ had a nice long weekend at the cabin. Everything was spotless and the property was very quiet and relaxing. We really enjoyed the fire pit and screened porch. The cabin had all the amenities we needed. I especially liked that one of the bedrooms was on the main floor as my parents are elderly. The host was very responsive. Cabin location was also great and within less than a 40 minute drive of activities for all interests and ages."

"Wonderful home with lovely decor, comfortable beds, and most everything you would need for your stay. We enjoyed feeding the cows and goats right next to our cabin along with visiting the baby goats, sheep, and minature pony at the funny farm by the owner's house. We especially enjoyed Charlie the dog's visits and walking with us as we explored the trail behind the cabin. "

"The house was great. Very cozy for celebrating the new year. Beds are memory foam, new and wonderful if you like memory foam. Close to the National Park to be able to explore but come back and unwind. The house had everything we needed. If we ever come back we will definitely rebook."

"Clean and well-equipped cabin overlooking a small pond. Owners were very cooperative and helpful. Unfortunately, we had bad weather and opted to leave early because pretty much all activities in the area are outdoors. After we used our cave tour tickets and found out that tours for the next few days were sold out, it didn't make sense to stay longer. Definitely rent a cabin on the lake. We were on a very small pond, and it was not what we expected. The waterfall and trail to get to it are...

"We rented this cabin for 2 nights as a getaway for our 24th anniversary. The cabin was surprisingly roomy for its size! It was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The area was so quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed walking the trails and viewing the cave and waterfall that was nearby. Beautiful scenery all around! Property owners did an awesome job with everything and made it an easy and stress free stay. We will definitely be returning in the future!"

"Everything we needed. Close proximity to National Park (as long as Green River Ferry is open). Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and we loved watching the horses and goats while drinling our morning coffee!"

"We picked this property because of its location between Mammoth Cave and the Corvette Museum but primarily because of its remote feel. The place was very clean and the views out the backyard were superb. Our kids could explore and while there are neighbors to both sides we only heard 1 car come down the dead end street. We’ll certainly stay here again."

"The owner is very nice, friendly, & accommodating. The rental is located in a beautiful area! If you want quiet & to kind of get away from “people” , it’s the perfect place. So much better than staying in a hotel! 10/10 recommend! We plan on staying again when we come back to town!"

"My family had a great time at this property. Unfortunately we weren’t able to kayak since the army dams the lake in the winter. While this was unexpected, we made the most of it and walked the dry lake bed quite far and my family was able to find some fishing spots. The cabin was clean and had what we needed. The back deck was a great place to read my book and kids liked the bonfire in the evening. We would stay here again but make sure the lake is there!"

"Loved the Robins Nest. Lovely inside and out. The porch was relaxing, Bed (we only slept in the downstairs one) was super comfortable, beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable. We were there to go to Mammoth Cave, and it was about 30 minutes away, so convenient and yet not overrun with other tourists. The neighborhood was peaceful. There are not a lot of food options or even grocery stores nearby, so plan ahead with that. Otherwise, we'd gladly book this again."

"We had a great time. Cabin had everything we needed. We noticed right away how clean everything was. It was decorated very cute and we loved the four seasons room. Enjoyed the beautiful lake views and had a fun time exploring Mammoth caves. We also did the waterfall hike at the state park just down the road."

"We really enjoyed our time at Lakeside Dreams. It was quiet and peaceful. The water levels are down quite a bit in the winter so may want to check that out if you plan to use the lake much but our kids had fun skipping rocks into the lake nonetheless. The property was clean and as advertised. Our only snag was that we didn't receive the door code and upon arrival had trouble getting into the home for a few mins. This was quickly corrected by a fast response from the property manager."
