Felt like I was staying a very cheap student accommodation. The TV didn't work, the bathroom was mouldy, the bar wasn't open even though it was advertised open till late. Staff were nice and breakfast was ok.

The rooms are overpriced, they don’t like they appear in the pictures. It’s not worth the price, not worth the stay.

The hotel room was comfortable and clean. Old school heater on a timer that was either on or off, so unable to adjust the temperature in the room. Lots of noise from neighbouring room and people coming back in the early hours of the morning, talking in the both the corridor and outside the hotel on the street. Woke me up and prevented me from getting back to sleep. Intentional hole in bathroom door, where handle might usually be - I wouldn't have liked that if I had been sharing the room with someone else.

The hotel is decidedly average. The roasted vegetable risotto was absolutely awful; tasteless rice with tiny pieces of cut up soggy roasted vegetables on top. Bar staff could barely be bothered to serve you. Bedroom was OK, but with so many hotels in the area, I'd give this one a miss.

The staff were lovely and very helpful, the hotel has a very unusal layout anf the swining pendulum is cool. One night we needed a corkscrew but the hotel did not have one available which was a bit odd - the staff did try to help us open the bottle in other ways though, which wa kind of them. The room was quite stuff, but there was a fan in the room to generate some airflow.

I stayed only one night. I had a good check in and check out experience. The hotel is right in the centre which is good. I gave my rate because for the price I paid I believe the hotel should have offered more. The room was ok, but you could see it was in poor state. From the fillers coming off, the shower leaking. The final touches were missing. Finally, the big one for me was the noise. Doors slam when closing. They make a loud noise. I woke up twice in the middle of the night (1am) because of my neighbours came back late. And I sleep with earplugs.

I wanted somewhere close to Piccadilly Station, so that I could catch an early train to the airport. This was clean, comfortable and very affordable. And a very short walk to the train station.

Staff on reception were friendly but did not manage to resolve issues we had. It felt more like student digs than a hotel. Very hot in mid October and no air conditioning so had to have window open all night and was still too warm. Asked for an additional pillow that didn't arrive. Very noisy, in that the walls are thin and doors not sealed. Breakfast selection theoretically ok but no clean plates, bread, many items missing and same serving implements used for e.g. bacon and hash browns which is not great if your vegetarian (or halal or kosher). Also no staff around when these issues happened to deal with them. Maybe expectations were too high for a relatively cheap stay near Oxford Street but with a bit more care this could have been a much better experience and review.
