Goechela Trek, the ubiquitous hiking trail, ever so slightly touched by man, its still pristine and a definite must-try for every hiking enthusiast in love with multi-day hikes and sleeping under the stars.
Situated on the western border of India and a less commonly known side of the Himalayas as compared to those of Nepal, Sikkim has a wide array of landscapes and astounding untouched views. The hike, while slightly challenging for a novice like me, still provided for an amazing experience of a lifetime. Clean rooms and friendly staff! Away from center so it was little difficult to find cab. Room heaters charged separately but were not big enough to keep the room warm.
