“This property should be removed from Vrbo’s listings. As other reviews have stated, the rental is filthy, full of broken furniture/appliances, and has several unsafe areas. We spent the first day and a half of our stay, cleaning the place. It is clear that this property has not been inspected or maintained for cleanliness in a long time. This is not the result of one careless guest. This is complete neglect.The home has cobwebs, stuck on grease, dirt buildup, bugs, and mold in multiple areas.……

“There’s no way we can adequately describe how wonderful a place this is! My husband’s first words were how big the cabin is. Pictures don’t do it justice. It is obviously beautifully and very thoughtfully laid out. There’s the sleeping area, but also a whole living room space as well. We had a good time reading, playing guitar and studying in front of the beautiful window! Loved that we could get up and make a cup of coffee right away without leaving our cabin. So many thoughtful touches to make……

“The property was great and we enjoyed our stay. We just had an issue with being able to access the property at check in. We were given the wrong code in the email provided by Vrbo, and we had to contact the main Vrbo number which was time consuming - but the Vrbo team were able to get us in and the property owners called as well. “If historical architecture is your thing then this is the place for you! This house was gorgeous and historical while still being very comfortable and functional. There were a few minor things different from the description but all for the better due to the updates and improvements the owner has made. We had a great time shopping and eating downtown at places that were all within walking distances and enjoying the views of the other historical houses surrounding this location on our stroll. We……

“We communicated specifics with the owner, so won't go into full details. The location is great, but that doesn't overcome that it was uncomfortably dirty in many ways. AC went out, so with temps in the 90s the inside was a balmy 82...all night and no way to open the windows. The bottom line is, with this booking there was a higher than normal cleaning fee. When we arrived we expected the place to be spotless. It was the opposite.This is also a duplex. That was not clear to us when we booked.……
