5/5 - Excellent
In the beautiful hotel we moved to (Hotel Parador) there were toucans, monkeys and giant lizards right up close by our hotel suite window and in the hotel grounds.

If you're spending some time in El Cerro, Manuel Antonio Nature Park & Wildlife Refuge and Rancho Tipico don Juan are top sights worth seeing.

Valle Pura Vida might not have many top sights, but Manuel Antonio Nature Park & Wildlife Refuge and Playa La Macha are two attractions nearby that you can check out.

Amazingly beautiful place! We saw monkeys 20+ 2 times, on the monkey trail and later at the spa! We also saw sloth, macaws and other animals on the property! We played pickleball, got a couples massage, swam, went snorkeling, kayaking and jumped off tour boat’s high deck and used their slide. Much ...

Stayed in the Townhouse suite and it was absolutely amazing! So comfy and beautiful and they restocked snacks and water for me daily. The food at the resort was so good and I felt very taken care of and safe here. They even decorated the place for my husbands birthday! 10/10 service. The butlers ...

Great view of the ocean from the porch. That alone made it worth the stay. It's also within walking distance to a bus stop. It is very basic. The beds are uncomfortable. The noise from the restaurant and bar next door can go on fairly late.

In the beautiful hotel we moved to (Hotel Parador) there were toucans, monkeys and giant lizards right up close by our hotel suite window and in the hotel grounds.
Great park. We hired a guide and spotted sloths, deer, howler monkeys, bats, bird life various snakes and frogs. You can finish your tour with a swim at the beach which is picture postcard beautiful.
Worth checking out Manuel Antonio national park with a tour guide; their equipment is invaluable to get a close up view (and photos!) of the animals.
A very touristy overhyped area. There are other nicer more tranquil areas to stay in Costa Rica.
It’s a great place to visit if you are in costa rica . Combines a national park ,beaches , bars /restaurants and waterfalls, more info on instagram @mihhalis
A bit touristy but good place to learn to surf. Most accommodation seems to be on a main road that is a good 15-20 min walk from the beach.
