"I had never stayed in a traditional Japanese hotel (I would call this a bed and breakfast) before, so this was really a nice experience. The building is in immaculate condition and it's very clean. It does have common bathrooms, so that was a bit of a surprise. The couple who runs the Fukurou Tei are nice and very helpful. The wife was also fluent in English, which helped me quite a bit. "I really enjoyed my stay at the Daishin Ryokan the staff were very nice and spoke good English. I had a room over looking the river and it is easy to walk to from the train station.
