"Breakfast was fantastic including great fancy coffee options. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was very clean but there was an odor like lingering cigarette smoke in our room. That’s the only negative thing I can say amidst our good time at the hotel."

"Wonderful home, with a wonderful host. She made us feel welcome right from the start. The room was spacious and well-decorated, and the bed was comfy. All was going well until Nova Scotia Power turned off the electricity @ 23:00 for work elsewhere. Elecricity was supposed to be back on @ 07:00, and we awoke to the smell of yeast - so something was happening in the kitchen. Alas, the power wasn't restored until some time closer to 09:00 IIRC, so the croissants were baked after we'd had our breakfast of cold cereal, fruit, yogurt, etc. Guests were sent on their way with croissants 'for the road', but we somehow forgot grab ours. Shucks. LOL Highly recommended for those looking for a place to stay in the area. BTW, Mahone Bay is very scenic and we got some nice photos."
