The Merit Camp: private modern ranch house w/pool just outside Marfa City limits

10/10 Excellent

"This was among the best VRBO’s I’ve ever stayed in- clean, comfortable and that stars at night are worth it by themselves. Great place!"

Renovated Adobe One Block From Marfa Courthouse Across From The Hotel Paisano

10/10 Excellent

"What a special stay. The house manages to feel incredibly luxurious while still retaining all the character and soul of an old home. There were thoughtful, high-end touches throughout—from the plush robes and amazing shower to the beautiful finishes and details that made the entire stay feel indulgent. But what I loved most was something completely unexpected. Staying here became a bit of a sentimental journey. There were moments of tactile déjà vu that brought back memories of childhood—the feel of the glass doorknobs in my hand, the layout of the house, creak of wooden floors, wooden drawers in the kitchen that sometimes needed a little persuasion, and even the sound of the train. Little things I hadn't thought about in years suddenly felt wonderfully familiar as all of these were experiences at my grandmother's house. It's rare to find a place that can feel both elevated and authentic at the same time. This one does. I came expecting a beautiful place to stay and left with an experience that felt unexpectedly personal. Truly memorable."

Desert Sky – On 5 Acres with Marfa Lights Views

"Really enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was a great spot to come back to after exploring Marfa. The sunsets were incredible, the stars were unreal, and seeing the full moon out there was something else. The peace and quiet out here is hard to beat.Check-in was easy, communication was great, and I'd definitely stay here again if I'm back in Marfa."
