"Het was een prima verblijf, slaapkamers prima, badkamers ook netjes. Keuken prima, alleen in de kastjes niet schoon en weinig keuze qua pannen. Het pand aan de buitenkant is achterstallig, ook het zwembad is niet heel erg schoon en hebben een keer moeten vragen om het filter aan te zetten. Heel aardige gastvrouw, je hoeft maar iets te vragen en het wordt geregeld. Wij hebben uiteindelijk nog 2 nachten bijgeboekt dus dat zegt ergens ook wel genoeg. Luckily it seemed renovated on the inside; the apartment on the 1st floor was new and had everything we need.You will need to pay a 10/night if you bring a dog.The apartment was clean and nice! Only the water became cold after 2 people taking a shower, so the 3rd person had cold water. Also it would be nice if there would be some more mood lighting. "Overall our stay was really good. The staff were really helpful and the food excellent and good value for money. The only downside was our room smelt of smoke. There were no other rooms available, and the staff were very apologetic and gave us a room spray, but the smell persisted."

"This hotel is ideally situated half way down through France. A very useful overnight stop if you are travelling further south. The staff are helpful and the rooms are clean. Not a huge room, but enough space for two people to share. There is a Camponile Inn on the same campus, which serves meals, or if you prefer a hamburger & chips, there's a Buffalo Grill about 150 yards down the road. We've stayed overnight here on many occasions as we've travelled from Calais to the south coast of France and have never had a bad experience."

"Our accommodations at Hotel St. Regis were good and provided us a perfect location to walk to and see the finish of Stage 12 of the 2026 Tour de France. Classic French building in the heart of Chalon-sur-Saone. Air conditioner was a little weak but we did what the locals do and opened the large floor to ceiling windows and that kept us comfortable for the night in spite of the ongoing heatwave. The hotel is on a busy street but is in walking distance of several plazas, the canal, and many restaurants. Also, there is dedicated and secured parking just a block from the hotel. If your travel plans include Chalon-sur-Saone, you should consider a stay in Hotel St. Regis!"

"I booked this hotel late at night as I wasn’t going to make my destination, the gates were opened up so I could park safely within the grounds. The place was clean and very pleasant. It’s a shame I didn’t get chance to have a swim as the pool looked amazing. A big thank you to the owner for looking after me at such short notice"

"A rather tired property but the room and bed were very clean. Decor and carpets are very tired but appear clean. Big surprises were no drink making facilities in the room, no cup in the bathroom, a hideous shower arrangement over a tiny bath where the shower screen opens inwards over the bath leaving about 6” of space to climb through before struggling to close the screen. If you’re more than a 34” waist, best not to risk it. There is an external fire escape from the 1st floor but the steps are covered in overgrown brambles - a really good trip hazard if you’re trying to flee a burning building. Would be closed down on this if in the UK. I did not have breakfast. All in all, ok but there are far better hotels for the same money or less."
