The Cottage on Campbell studio has an ideal location overlooking the historic downtown Mariposa and situated within a quiet neighborhood. Take advantage of the close proximity to restaurants and shops, while being just 32 miles from the Arch rock entrance to Yosemite National Park and 12 miles from the mighty Merced river. The space is large enough to accommodate 3 guests with a queen bed, futon bed, large kitchen, full bath, covered parking, Wifi, and a flat screen TV. Take in the beautiful mountain views while relaxing on the covered patio! The Mariposa visitor center, YARTS bus stop, coffee shops, historic sites, and restaurants are all within walking distance! The studio is located on the same property as the rental host, so be rest assured your needs will be met and your privacy maintained.

Nice Cottage
We enjoyed our stay very much. The place was clean and well appointed. Nice big kitchen area and some cooking utensils. The patio was a nice place to sit and look out at the view in the evening. Road noise was a bit much (this town loves their loud trucks!). The one minor down side was that the bed is not comfortable. All in all this was a very pleasant place to stay.

Clean quiet getaway
While I saw the pics ahead of time, the cottage was roomier than I imagined. Vicki clearly communicated how to check in and was available if we needed anything. We even had covered parking! The location is perfect and it was quiet and private. Super clean and such a great value. If we ever head up to Mariposa again, we will definitely try to come back to the cottage.

Little oasis outside Yosemite
I visited Mariposa with my husband and daughter, and this was a great starting point for our trips to Yosemite. It's more or less equidistant from the west and south entrances to the park. The kitchen was a little light on items, but we made it work - you're not really cooking a 4-star meal when you're on vacay anyway. Vicki was great in offering some suggestions for what to do and see in the park. Overall a great trip and I'd recommend this place to anyone!

Love the room, didn't like the roaches.
The place is very nice, beautiful view, love the kitchen, bed was very comfy. We really loved it until we found cockroaches in the restroom. It make it very uncomfortable to sleep or used the restroom as we kept thinking about them. We made sure to keep everything off the floor but had to checked the bags again before we left, just to make sure. I'm sure it's not the owners fault, we can tell they take great pride in trying to keep it clean and care for the guest. We noticed them outside so I'm sure that's were the problem is. Nevertheless, it was lovely with the exemption of the bugs. When we go back to Yosemite again, we may try again but will want to make sure they have been 100% taken care of first.

This was the perfect place to stay for exploring Yosemite and the surrounding area. The space was lovely, Mariposa is close by and walkable. You’ve got a kitchen and a little porch to sit on. We could not have asked for more!

Alles war zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Entfernung zum Yosemite Nationalpark ist angemessen, aber man sollte früh aufbrechen um im Park noch einen Parkplatz zu erhalten.

Quaint and cute cottage
A perfect little cottage for a trip to Yosemite. It took roughly an hour to get there each morning but the drive is so beautiful that it feels like an “event”. The cottage was clean and cozy and the host communicated well with us. Would definitely book again!

The owners had clearly thought of all the small things. The town was cute and had everything one would need. Just be prepared to drive over an hour to she from Yosemite valley each day. It's a trade off to get better food but the roads at night can be a little scary.

What an amazing place!!
My wife and I needed some peaceful time away from the city and this was the perfect place. I definitely recommend it. I usually read reviews before I go to a place. After reading all the good reviews I decided to book this place and it did not disappoint at all. The place and the host was amazing! She made our stay memorable. Definitely coming back!

The perfect place to stay if you are looking to explore Yosemite and the surrounding Mariposa area. Vicky is an astounding host with a great attention to detail in ensuring the best stay for her guests. Great location, beautiful studio, and a lovely view of Mariposa from the patio sitting area.
We would highly recommend this stay to anyone and we will hopefully be back!
