Location was good, 1/2 hour to Asheville. Beautiful views. Comfortable beds, nice game room. Needs updated kitchen utensils, glasses, cups, etc.

Its not the ski in-ski out that is on the title but it is less than a 10 minute walk to the slopes. Made the day go by so much easier not having to drive. There is a path across the street to a blue slope.
A clean, spacious, and beautiful place to to enjoy a getaway!
My family and I stumbled upon this gem of a place for a quick vacation getaway. We were all pleased with the stay. The game room, kitchen, mountain views, and jacuzzi were my favorite. I didn’t want to leave and will definitely book again for a longer stay next time. I highly recommend this to be the place to stay!
The Skybox was perfect for our long weekend getaway. It is an easy drive to Asheville but secluded enough to feel like you got away. The cabin is decorated perfectly and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Gorgeous views, relaxing hot tub, fun game room, this place had it all! We will definitely be back!
Amazing views. Great games for the kids. Great area to explore within 30 min of surrounding area during summer. Every possible supply you need on vacation.
The view off both of the back balconies are worth the stay alone. The property amenities were amazing. Our favorite part of the trip included the hottub. Plenty of space, and the owner was so quick getting back to us when we had questions on how to use the grill and the upstairs fireplace. Already looking to rent this place again in the spring or summertime!
We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Skybox. It was nothing short of spectacular. Clean, roomy, up to date. Nothing was left out when putting this cabin together! It had everything!
Enjoyed our stay. The home was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the quality of the kitchen equipment as well. Was hoping to enjoy skiing but we’re too late in the season, but the ski in/out is a real draw.
Beautiful views and sunsets. Clear night and lights out provide a fantastic view of stars.
The cabin was very clean, comfortable and had a beautiful view. The lurched had everything we needed and the games kept us entertained. It was exactly what we expected from the pictures and description. The host was very quick to respond to questions. I would recommend this home hands down!
The Skybox cabin was beautiful and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. It held our party if 11 very comfortably. I loved some of the little touches like the makeup towels.
During our stay the hot water heater died and was replaced which was unfortunate but the owner took care of it immediately and even made up for any inconvenience we experienced.
I defintiely would come back to this property!
Everything about this house was perfect other than only 1 of 3 showers working. However we were refunded for 1 night so the owners were kind to do that.
This house was great for our 2 families with kids. Game area was a hit along with the hot tub. It was nice weather weather, so we just left the back doors open and let them run around. Rooms are great size along with the bathrooms. Kitchen was stocked with all the necessary cooking equipment. We did have black bears come every night due to the trash cans not being bear proof, this was throughout the neighborhood though. This was pretty cool but maybe should be have a warning. We loved it and would definitely book again!
We can tell that the host took a lot of time to decorate and have everything equipped for this home. From the kitchen, every utensil you need to make a delicious meal is included. The cookbook is available for inspiration. Walking in the master bedroom, you can sleep on a tempurpedic mattress and lovely linen spray. Walking outside is the dining table which my kids love so much and enjoy an outdoor breakfast. The basement is kids heaven with a mini arcade. The view is breath taking for yoga and meditation. The hot tub is the place for rejuvenating after a long day of hiking. Definitely a come back place. Thank you for sharing your dream home with us. May you keep up your good work.

House needs a little tlc
The main road to the property (ski valley) closes on occasion. The road you have to take when ski valley is closed is in poor shape. Parts of the road is falling off the edge of the mountain in places. I would not suggest arriving after dark. The listing also states that you could park a trailer or RV at the house. I am not sure how you would get an RV or trailer up to the house. The house itself could use a little TLC and a DEEP CLEANING! The comforter in the primary bedroom smelled dirty. There was dust all over everything. The floors were dirty. The dishes, utensils, and cookware in the cabinets were dirty (Food still on them). Hair in the towels.New mattresses or mattress toppers are needed. The beds were so hard even our kids were complaining that their neck and backs hurt. We actually left a night earlier than planned because we wanted a good nights sleep and could not on those mattresses. The hosts sent multiple messages to me about leaving a 5 star review. However, there is no way this house deserves a 5 star review.
Too many keep pad boxes at front entrance, makes it very confusing on where you actually have to put the code. The air hockey table was broke, the house was not cleaned. The “hot tub” guy came the following day to fill the hot tub up. Communication between homeowners and the rental place they use is not efficient. The manager of the rental place was extremely rude and unfriendly. No one would come help us with the check in process as far as which keypad we were supposed to use. They refuse to refund anything or help in any way. Very disappointed in my stay. Let’s just say I’m glad to be home.
We had a lovely stay at the Skybox and definitely plan on coming back! We might bring our own baby gates next time so we have a little extra baby proofing and peace of mind with our 1 and 3 year old. The gate that was there didn’t work well and wouldn’t stay up.
The view was beautiful and the house was perfectly clean and organized.
Plenty of room inside and fun things to do for the family. Has pretty much everything you may need in regards to amenities. The host was super responsive to any questions or needs that arose. Great family vacation!
We had a wonderful family vacation on this property. Everyone had their own space, and there was a large space where we gathered in the evening. We had a 6 month old grandson with us. The high chair and crib were an added bonus, The property was very clean with a very well stocked kitchen. The view was breathtaking.
The only negative was the steep drive to the property, but we were in the mountains, so a steep drive is not unusual. We will definitely will stay here again.
The photos of the property match everything about the home. It’s amazing - really great game room for the kids (there were 4, ages 5-11) and the views were priceless. We had all kitchen items we needed too. Elliott (the host) was so helpful and quick in communication! We are looking forward to returning to Ashville again and would 100% go back and highly recommend host!
We stayed for three nights in this property. The interior was gorgeous, the kitchen well-stocked, and the view was spectacular. Lots of games in the basement just added to the fun. However, the steep, pot-holed 2 mile road into this ski resort is a real hassle….but I do not hold it against them. Also, it’s 35 minutes to downtown Asheville, but that adds to the quiet, country charm. We never saw or interacted with our neighbors, as this place is very private. All-in-all, this place rates a “5”.
