"The staff is amazing and the property was beautiful! Our only complaint is we were put in a room right above the buffet. During the day/night is fine but starting 6am you hear all sorts of noise. It sounds like chairs and tables are being moved around for 5 hours straight. It was horrible. We were room 3157. "

Buffet sucked so bad i wanted to move hotels? and apparently for every 2 days you stay you can only have dinner in 1 of 3 restaurants. terrible terrible buffet food. only 1 bar open nightly. Nothing matched what expedia explained. "

"Food was mediocre. Rooms were nice, well equipped and clean. Pools were great. Beach was lovely. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Towel exchange was awkward, with having to present a card every time. Also having to sign for meals was ridiculous. We had the all-inclusive package Probably wouldn't go back to this resort."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4.7/5) As Canadians visiting Puerto Vallarta, we had a fantastic stay at Riu Palace Pacifico. This is a beautiful, adults only resort that really delivers great value for a 5 star RIU property. The resort itself is stunning, well maintained, and has a relaxing atmosphere. It’s definitely not a party resort, more geared toward unwinding and enjoying the experience. The crowd was a nice mix, with many 50+ guests but also plenty in their 30s and 40s. One thing worth noting: while most staff were excellent, some room service staff had limited English. When ordering food, especially with allergies (I have a kiwi allergy), things didn’t always translate clearly, which could be a concern for some guests. The location is a bit far from the Malecón, but it’s still worth the trip if you want a quieter, more upscale stay. The spa was a bit underwhelming compared to others, but the four colored tents on the beach offering massages for around $40 USD were amazing and highly recommended. Also, a small but impressive detail, the lobby washrooms were kept in absolutely perfect condition (10/10) at all times. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely come back if Puerto Vallarta is on our list again."
