"As a family of 5 we had the 3 persons first floor and the seperate 3 persons ground level, with acces to a totall of 3 showers, 2 water toilets and 2 kitchens. All in excellent state as the chalet is recently refurbushed. The first floor unit has airco, the ground level not. The pool is good to chill on a hot day, the view from the pool on the mountains is super, the pool is only 10 meters away from the chalet and can be monitored from the terras of the chalet. "Nous avons profiter de ce lieu perdu en pleine nature à peine derangé par les promeneurs et VTT pour jouer de la musique, se retrouver se balader. Le mont Ursuhia à 35 minutes de montée un peu raide nous a permis d observer la mer depuis le sommet. Que du bonheur!"

"Beautiful character property situated outside the village and so a short drive to the local bakery shops and about a 5 minute drive from a large Carrefour. the property is approximately 20 minutes from the beaches of Biarritz, with a fantastic swimming pool, which also has an outside shower. We brought inflatables with us so that and the table tennis provided a lot of fun. Owner communicates quickly by email with good English. We were required to sign a contract, that I have never been asked to...

"The hosts could not do enough to make out stay perfect. The property was exactly as described. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils (probably overstocked) and Liss has left us some milk, coffee, water and juice on arrival which was very kind. Although the property was in a residential area it was very easy to get into Bayonne by bus but you definitely need a car to get around. Overall the stay was great and woudl recommend. "

"Extraordinary boutique hotel. We had a delightful stay. The owners show you to your room, are there every day, and offer good sight-seeing and restaurant advice. The room, like all the decor, is lovely, the beds are comfy, and the table on the balcony is great for coffee. There is a coffee maker, minifridge and an individual air conditioning unit that makes any heat wave bearable. There is ample closet space and the bathroom modern with attractive lighting. If you want to eat in, there is a communal microwave and one-pot meals available to heat up. The wi fi works great. It is a pet-friendly place: several dogs were there, including those of the owners. The only possible minus is that there is no elevator and the stairs are a bit steep. Excellent value."

"We walked in from our pilgrim route tired and wet. We were put in a cramped w/c accessible room on the ground floor.There was a locked connecting door to the next room. The occupants returned, talking loudly, and apparently smoking as we could smell the cigarette smoke in our room. We asked to be moved and ended up in a much nicer, larger room on the first floor, with a bathtub! Sorely needed after our long, wet day of walking. The next morning we arrived at breakfast to find one of the most complete breakfast offerings we'd seen thus far, and a lovely young woman presiding! Perfect for hungry pilgrims who would be walking again that day. So, things started out not wonderful but ended up great!"
