“I had a wonderful stay at Will and Takara's ground floor studio in Roxbury while I was in town for graduation weekend. The place was cosy, clean and recently renovated with a slick kitchenette and a really nice bathroom. And, there was even a piano (in tune, no less) to thump on ! From the beginning, Will was always responsive and helpful over messages, and even gave me a detailed guide to restaurants & other things to do during my stay, a number of which I managed to cross off the list. “Great location, recently updated property done well, comfortable beds, plenty of hot water and good water pressure in showers. The glitches with new appliances were quickly remedied by owner. Cool fireplace in main living area. Would stay again if return to Salem.”

Only feedback I have is the light out back was really dim or out in general so it was dark at night and the mini split didn’t seem to cooperate with changes. “Check-in was easy and as directed. It was great to have a parking space out back. I wish I had known that it was easier to get into the basement apartment from the back parking lot, rather than bringing everything in from the front door. It is a basement apartment with no outside light. Ceiling lights don’t work so you get the light from floor lamps. We were able to check in an hour early, but it was on a whim that I tried since I had emailed, messaged and tried calling the host multiple times……
