"Close to wedding venue in Conrad"

"Nice stay in Cedar Falls. The pool was closed (which we didn’t know prior to arrival - no note on the site), but the pool table in the lobby was a hit with my son. Room was clean and everybody slept well, which are the most important factors for us. The shower door in the bathroom would not stay closed, so the floor got soaked in the corner - minor inconvenience. Free coffee and tea in the lobby 24/7. We’d stay again. "

"We absolutely loved the stay... Such a charming hotel with an amazing restaurant below. Delicious food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. We would have ate there both nights, however we were there for my daughter's dance comp and she fell asleep after a day of performing at 4 pm and slept right on through dinner. My parents were able to catch a bite at the Tremont grille for breakfast and said it was delicious as well. We unfortunately couldn't as it's closed on Sundays. (totally understandable as the owners need their time! :-)) Also... this is by no means against the property but definitely something to possibly expect.... the people of Marshalltown seem to LOVE their loud cars. From about 6-11 pm many enjoyed showing off the loudness cruising the main drag which was unfortunately outside our window. Regardless.. we'd still definitely stay again if our schedule ever brings us back to Marshalltown IA. If anything... we may make it back just for another stay and a dinner at the Tremont. :-) "

"They had a lot of furniture outside and the room wasn’t dusted well at all. My daughters bed sheets actually looked dirty as well."

"Very clean room. Breakfast was good with multiple choices of items. Nice fitness room that I used. I suggested to management that a safety tread be added to the bathtub floor since it was very slippery. Would stay here again."
