「This is the nicest hotel in the city. Excellent and professional staff and management. All facilities are first rate -- excellent swimming pool and dining room. Extremely comfortable room with a huge and nicely appointed bathroom. First rate.」

「 The hotel was nice but in need of updating. We had a Japanese-styled room with rice paper doors with many damaged rice paper panels. There was no light next to the bed, only the overhead light. The service was excellent.
Lumbini was filled with smoke from surrounding agricultural burns., which we were told were typical in November and December. The smoke was so bad our flight out was delayed 3 hours because the airport closed for poor visibility and smoke marred the view of the Temple,...

「My wife, our adult son and I stayed in this hotel recently on our way from India (Sunauli border near Gorakhpur) to Pokhara. Tansen is situated nearly mid way between GKP and Pokhara (about 4.5 hours in each direction), and therefore, Tansen makes a convenient stop-over. We had initially booked our two rooms only for one night, but Hotel Ranimahal turned out to be such a great find that we ended up spending another night also in this excellent hotel.
