“This was the perfect place to stay for a family wedding weekend. Loved sitting on the deck with my morning coffee looking out over the harbor. Very quite neighborhood. Located a couple minutes from downtown Rockland, Owls Head Transportation just down the street along with the State Park. Wedding venue was 3 miles away in South Thomaston. It was exactly as described, comfy, cozy and allowed pets. Fenced in yard for the dog was a huge plus. Hosts were great. Would definitely stay here again!”

“This is a rambling, welcoming old building that is perfect for a family stay. Check-in is smooth, the kitchen is well stocked with utensils etc, wi fi was good. I must say it is not what I would call an easy walk from the ferry, so older people, little kids, and people with heavier luggage should be aware of this. Otherwise the house is really convenient to the stores and restaurants of Vinalhaven and have a great view of the water. The dining area is a real plus! There is also a downstairs……

“Clean, comfortable, even"extra" bonuses not in description like an adjustable bed and a queen-sized air mattress with bedding. Well equipped. Very close to Drift In Beach parking. The house is on a curve and you need to take caution pulling out though it is doable--if the neighbor on the Tenant's Harbor side would trim back bushes, it would no longer be an issue. Quiet, relaxed and convenient location.”

“Beautiful Maine home with fantastic views. We enjoyed our stay and spent time kayaking direct from the property, swimming in the nearby quarry and at the beach, and relaxing dinners on the deck. Kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfortable and house was very clean on arrival. Would stay again. ”

“The view of the bay from this house, it simply stunning. We loved exploring the beach, grilling dinner on the deck and relaxing in the evenings. The shared bathroom worked for our family, but it could be a little awkward for some groups. Wish there was a dining table, and the living room furniture could use a refresh - very worn sofas were rough on the lower back after awhile. We'd book again - it's a 5 min drive into Rockland. ”
