We had such a lovely stay at Abacus.

We had such a lovely stay at Abacus. The area is lovely and perfect for access to the Peak District. The accommodation was very clean, decorated nicely and had a well-equipped kitchen. I personally loved the large window seat in the bedroom which was perfect for reading! I would definitely recommend this accommodation and hope to stay again in the future.

We came for a week. We were very picky about the location and equipment. This house was just perfect; wonderfully equipped, very interestingly decorated, great location, safe, nice neighbours. For us this place was fantastic, we had everything we wanted!! We will definitely come back! Highly recommended. 5 stars from us !

Fabulous cottage for a couple and dog.

Fabulous cottage for a couple and dog. Really well equipped best we have ever been in. We wanted for nothing. Bed very comfortable, bathroom modern and spacious. Well equipped kitchen,large fridge and freezer. Garden at the back of no 12 wants cutting back prevents sitting out at the back of Abacus, but the bench on the front is great for watching the world going by. Plenty of places to visit Bakewell,Chatsworth,Chesterfield,Sheffield parks and museums,Matlock, Matlock bath, Crich and many more Would recommend to anyone visiting this beautiful area. Many thanks for sharing this lovely property with us.

Abacus house was very clean and well-equipped. It was spacious and comfortable. We loved the mezzanine style bedroom! The school related touches were nice too and added to the stay. It was easy to find off the main road. We really enjoyed taking our baby to Abacus House for his first holiday!

Abacus house is a gem.

Abacus house is a gem. It is just as illustrated and the neighbours are friendly to visitors (not always the case in a residential area). The owner was present and helpful on arrival - it's good to have that personal contact. The area speaks for itself as it is in a wonderful open and picturesque part of the country. I would certainly consider a second visit.
