“The staff were sweet and the restaurant was great. However there is a general lack of maintenance . Wasn’t just us, on speaking to other guests they all had issues with their rooms. We had three rooms 1) First room had a leak in the roof- occasionally. Probably when upstairs was showering 2) Second room -Electricity kept tripping and needed to be continually requested to switch back on 3) third room had an underground leak which FLOODED the entire room. “This was a beautiful location. Hard to get to... 3 hours drive from Maputo and you basically have to hire a driver. The staff was warm and lovely and always wanting to help make the vacation ideal. “Det var fantastisk åkte med min äldsta dotter Huset var jätte stort för 2 personer, vi fick reda på att det var självhushåll precis innan vi åkte från Maputo det var tur fanns ingen mataffär och restaurangen bredvid måste man beställa dagen innan och bara lunch. Vi tog med pasta och sås det gick bra. Gick på stranden 20 min till en restaurang men på väg hem var det flod badade i strömt vatten för att komma hem det var otäckt! ”

This I discovered when I informed the person who works for or owns the lodge on the 31st of December that we would see him that evening.
