“Driving up to the property was beautiful, but we thought too remote. But once we were there, we could have stayed for weeks. It is the most serene and beautiful space. The rain even made it more enjoyable, sitting on the deck and listening to the wildlife and rain. If it wasnt so far away I would bring our whole family here, for the best getaway ever. “This cabin was exactly what we needed. We came to the area for archery championships, but wanted something to get away and detach from the world. This cabin doesn’t have the best reception but other than that was amazing! The kitchen is small, but was perfect cause that means I didn’t have to be in the kitchen helping! If you are looking for a relaxing getaway! This is the place! 5 stars, would recommend!”

“Absolutely amazing cabin close to Louisville but secluded enough to fill like you are far away from the hustle and bustle! From the sunrise on the water to the twinkle of twilight in the evening the cabin is situated perfectly next to the lake. This is a great place to rest and relax!”

We were able to go to another property the owner had to see the eclipse, since this home was at 99% totality. Joann when above and beyond and we have already discussed coming back. “When I arrived at the property, I thought the location was sketchy. However, we had zero problems for a 2-night stay. Very close to highway 264, which allows quick access to the airport. The house was clean and neat, with plenty of towels. All the bedrooms were nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the fact that one room included a crib for our little one. The property accommodated 6 adults and 7 children adequately.”

And out of all the Vrbos I’ve stayed in, this one had the best cooking utensils stocked in the kitchen. That may seem silly but we cook pretty much every meal we eat so it was a big deal for us.
