LIVING SPACE + KITCHEN:

The open living space invites you to unwind. Curl up on the sofa, relax in the oversized chair, or stream your favorite movie on the 65” Roku TV while the electric fireplace adds a warm glow.

When the mood strikes, enjoy board games, puzzles, DVDs, and cards for a slow evening in and spin some records from the loft.

The fully equipped kitchen is ready for your favorite meals and includes:

OUTDOORS:

The wraparound covered deck is the heart of the cabin.

Start your mornings in the rocking chairs as the mountains wake up around you. This spot has some of the most amazing sunrises you'll ever see. In the evening, relax in the lounge seating while the sun sets over the valley. Many nights bring spectacular sunsets and incredibly starry skies.

Out back you'll find:

-A charcoal grill and picnic table for outdoor meals (BYO charcoal and firewood)

This is the kind of place where you sit down for a few minutes… and end up staying all evening.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:

-The driveway is steep and gravel, which helps keep the cabin private and peaceful.
- AWD or 4WD is required to drive to the top.
- If needed, parking is available at the bottom of the driveway, though the walk up is long - especially with luggage.
- The cabin has central heat and A/C. The upstairs loft including the queen bedroom can run warmer in summer or cooler in winter, but fans and space heaters are provided for comfort.
- The cabin is stocked with towels, hotel-quality linens, soaps, starter coffee, basic spices, and paper goods - just bring your essentials and settle in.

LOCATION:

This peaceful mountaintop retreat is tucked into rural Southwest Virginia.

Expect 25–40 minutes to most grocery stores and restaurants, but that’s part of the charm.

Nearby destinations include:

New River State Park at Foster Falls – 15–20 minutes

Galax – about 30 minutes

Hillsville – about 35 minutes

Wytheville – about 40 minutes

Spend the day hiking, kayaking, antiquing, or exploring small towns - then return to your quiet mountain hideaway for sunset.


***KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:

AWD/4WD required for the steep gravel drive (2WD cars won’t make it). Parking is available at the bottom if needed - it’s a long walk up with luggage and not highly recommended although doable.

The cabin has central heat and A/C. Upstairs will get warm on hot days or cool during evenings but fans will circulate the air and there are space heaters if it gets chilly upstairs.

The cabin is made up with towels, bed linens, soaps, starter K-cups of coffee, basic spices, and paper goods- just bring your essentials and settle in. Bring along some firewood and charcoal if you wish to use those amenities.


OUTDOOR CAMERA: There is an outdoor camera facing the outside staircase/entrance. It is on 24/7 and can record video and sound.
