Welcome to Edelweiss Lodge! This stunning home is professionally managed by M Power, LLC, the leading, premier vacation rental home, and management company in the Elkton area since 2010.
** Please note, some holidays such as Memorial Day and Martin Luther King Jr weekend require a three-night stay and other holidays such as JMU graduation, Thanksgiving, and Christmastime through New Year require a four-night stay! **
Located on quiet Hopkins Drive within Massanutten Resort, this cozy home is almost brand new from top to bottom and has a lot to offer and enjoy from the easily accessible main level living to the fenced in, pet friendly back yard with a large stone firepit, to the kid’s reading nook and board games. Edelweiss Lodge is centrally located to all resort amenities including the water park, free ponds and parks, and hiking/biking/walking trails. It is a short drive to the zip lines, go karts, and ski/tubing slopes. When you’re not golfing, go-kart racing, or skiing, make sure to visit the Shenandoah National Park and the nearby breweries, wineries, shops, and more!
The homeowners have put great time, effort, and love into Edelweiss Lodge with guests and families in mind, so it is pet and kid friendly. Guests have access to a pet crate and accessories that are stored in the king bedroom at the end of the hall. For kids’ enjoyment, there is a reading nook that offers fairy lights, books, and comfortable seating in the second bedroom.
INDOOR LIVING: Enter the home via a small set of porch stairs and be immediately welcomed into the stylish and warmly decorated great room which consists of the dining room and living room. The living room boasts a beautiful brick wall, flat screen television, and games, with plenty of seating for everyone. The dining room has direct access via sliding glass doors to the spacious back porch where guests can find a large propane grill, sizeable fenced in yard, and new, hand-built stone firepit is in the middle of the yard for guest enjoyment. (Please note, all fires must be contained within the firepit and not left unattended or to smolder).
Back inside and to the right of the dining room area is the stunning kitchen with an eat in bar for additional seating. Create family meals and memories using the spacious countertops and cabinets. Everything from the light fixtures and back splash to the full-size appliances and utensils have been upgraded. There is also a laundry area in the corner that guests may use.
BEDROOM LAYOUT: Off the living room is a hallway where guests will find all three tastefully decorated bedrooms and two full-size bathrooms. All bedrooms have new bedding and beds and offer dressers which are available for guest use and storage. The first bedroom on the left offers a queen-size bed, flat screen television, and beautiful views of the front yard. The second bedroom on the right offers a double-size bed, twin-size bed, flat screen television, and reading nook. Between the first two bedrooms and on the right is the main bathroom which offers an expansive vanity and mirror as well as a tub/shower combo.
The final bedroom is at the end of the hallway on the right and is the king suite bedroom. This large room offers great views of the fenced in the back yard as well as a flat screen television and dimmable end table lamps. The second, full bathroom is in this room and offers a tub/shower combo.
PETS ARE ALLOWED AT COST.
SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED AT ALL.
