「Everything was great. The hosts were very generous and polite. They introduced themselves and then did not bother us at all; however they were very reassuring and told us to let them know if we needed them. They are a small farm and had chickens, ducks, a pig, and sheep. The animals were all very friendly and entertaining for us to watch while we sat on the porch. 「We were celebrating our daughter’s 18th birthday with her friends and she is hitting the Appalachian Trail next year so she wanted to attend Trail Days. This cabin was a perfect place for both celebrating and getting much needed rest after a long day. My only suggestion is that you upgrade your pics because they do not do the cabin’s beauty justice. 」

「The cabin was a great place to spend our anniversary weekend. Easy access to Hungry Mother SP for hiking. Super comfy bed and the hot tub has an awesome set up under the trees. The whole cabin site was fantastic!」

「More difficult to get to since hwy. 58 closed at Damascus. Pretty drive taking the long way. Too bad the Virginia creeper trail closed, I was able to go down until the first washed out bridge at green cove. Enjoyed the quiet stay.」

「The best part for us was the quiet, privacy, and view that allowed us to relax. The cute cabin was clean and comfortable. There were plenty of linens and the kitchen was sufficiently stocked. The two porches had an amazing view. The walk down to the lake on the well-constructed stairs and landings to the dock was a hidden gem. We even caught some fish and would like to return again.」

「We came here with both our girls and the husbands. They both have recently got married. So we are empty nesters. We had a blast. We played board games, had dinner, rode the creeper, shop and made tons of memories. We came here to celebrate mine and my husbands 50th birthdays 」

「We were looking for a quiet getaway, plus exploring the idea of a tiny home-this was it. With thecreek outside the bedroom window, and comfortable bed we slept like a baby. The bottom step caught my husband, who has trouble walking, but once he realized what was going on, he was ok. Hope to be back in the fall.」
