It started off as a great stay, but on day two, it turned horrible. My room was infested with bed bugs, and they started crawling on our bed at midnight. At that point, I contacted the front desk, waited, and no one came for over 30 minutes. Then, I made my way down, spoke with the receptionist, showed video and pics, and at that point, the manager on duty came out and apologized. He said to return to the room and pack the belongings, and someone will be there to move you to a new room. I went to the room, waited another hour, no one came, and I had to make another trip down to visit the front desk and had to wait further 20 mins for someone to come to my room to move me. This whole ordeal took 2.5 hrs, and I was advised that the manager will provide compensation for the night, but at check-out, no one was aware of it. They said to call later as the manager wasn’t there. It is strange that a 5-star property does not have a manager on duty. I left as I had to catch a flight. I have a case open with Expedia and am awaiting a contact from the manager, but I am extremely disappointed and will be using all media coverage to provide awareness as this is a completely horrible experience and customer service.
