very low maintainance

location is good, staff is ok. the biggest problem is cleanliness and maintenance. 1st room i get, no water heather, room is dirty, so i request to change room. 2nd room i get has same problem but i decide to not change since is same. u can found a lot of rubbish at bottom of bed, water heather very slow or not hot at all, wall paper of room already spoil and dirty. Furthermore, the lobby is smoking lobby, very smelly and disgusting. Last but not least, no wifi at room even at lobby also very slow. total disappointed stay for 3 days. (the owner of this hotel seem like give up this hotel already.)

After seeing the rooms at candi hotel we couldn't stay there - they have had a problem with bed bugs and the sheets were covered in stains consistent with bed bugs. One of our rooms even has a cigarette butt on the floor (non smoking room). I'm hoping to get a refund from expedia as it was really not possible to stay here - I've stayed in hostels and guest houses all over Asia, including medan, and this is the worst I've seen.

I’ve leave the room and they came in for a room service , they have kept everything aside in one place and all of my belongings were safely kept. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly too.

Bad Experience

I have booked for 2 rooms. Seem the room are not prepared for the guest. There is a leaking water on the floor and dust. The 1st room also got smell from the toilet and 2nd room aircond leaking. Request to another room and they give the smoking room but I am requested non smoking room.

The floor do not have any ventilation system ! cos the hole floor so warm , Room aircond seem under power , not cool enough. Front office staff unable to speak english .

Pasamos a Medan en nuestro camino a Bukit Lawang y por lo cual no quisimos complicarnos, grave error. El hotel es pesimo en todo sentido, la limpieza es pesima, habitaciones llenas de polvo, telas de araña y marcas de humedad. Se nota que nadie habia hecho el aseo en mucho tiempo.
