「This was a great property in which to stay at. First, the hosts were phenomenal and if we were going to arrive after dark, they were going to leave the light on for us. There are no negatives about this property. Location excellent within distance to St Louis and Chain of Rocks bridge. It was so clean, quiet and relaxing. We had the best nights sleep of our trip. 「My wife and I stayed there for a few days for her birthday. It was so peaceful there. The host keeps the place very clean and includes many additional thoughtful items. The trail is a nice touch and worth exploring. It was super hot during our stay and the A/C kept us nice and cool.」

「Oh my word this place is incredible. Bed was comfortable great location and the original aspects of the old building brought up to date with modern convenience. I think Jennifer and I will be getting more acquainted because I have a hard time finding a decent place to stay when I come to my hometown to visit. Carlinville is good little town close to my hometown and made attending my best friends wedding in Gillespie a breeze. We will be back.」
