“Parking area very safe with plenty of disabled bays. Reception area busy with afternoon teas and people relaxing and socialising in the evening which gave off a good vibe. Very professional staff. Bar and tables cleared quickly and efficiently. Friendly staff. Singer on Saturday night very enjoyable. ”

“We had the most wonderful stay at Blackwell House in Scarva! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome — nothing was too much trouble. The house itself is absolutely beautiful, full of charm and character, with every little detail thought of to make guests feel at home. “Great wee place. Nice and quiet and the accommodation was clean and comfortable. Host was very kind in leaving local food and a bit of milk to get you going ( great idea for a cup of tea). Also has a chap of the door where I kind man gave me half a dozen fresh eggs. They were lovely and the eggs looked like what I used to see as a kid- white, brown and light blue. ( I think that he was the hosts father). Loved the Amazing fire stick which was useful for Prime, Netflix etc. Bed was really……
